Aliens versus Predator Classic 2000

Wake up marine, you're in some SEEEERIOUS ♥♥♥♥. That's right baby, grandpa left the hose running for three days and now the space police are coming to repossess the house. Funny how the space police look like horrifying ant people that come tearing around the corner like a finely tuned Japanese drifting car. So funny you'd have time to laugh if you weren't so busy running from their slavering mandibles and insatiable lust for the dino nuggets you have crammed into your cargo short pockets. Rest assured, kitten whispers, they will find you.

Highly immersive, great enemy AI, cool music and gameplay.

Such a great game! The Predator is such a great creature to be!

This is an ancient game. But don't let that put you off playing. The graphics are of its day but it's such an adrenaline rush for all that. Between the music, the guy on the monitor and the darkness, not to mention how quick the aliens come at you on the walls and on the roof, it keeps the blood pumping. A true blast from the past that's worth resurrecting just for the sheer fun to be had trying to stay alive long enough to reach the end of each level.

You can tell it's an old one. The predator controls feel clunky, the graphics are half life 1 level, perhaps worse, and the biggest challenge you'll have doing the campaigns is not the enemies, but navigating them. The amount of time I lost being LOST takes up a good chunk of my playtime. That said, it's still enjoyable for what it is. I 100% it today (Did all main campaigns on highest difficulty and finished the bonus missions). Honestly, the missions that are locked behind you beating the game on the highest difficulty, are worth it. I'd recommend (At least for Alien) beating the game on realistic first, then try director. It's fun, what can I say? This specific version comes with bonus missions that let you interact with other species's campaign maps. It's interesting seeing maps from the perspective of a new person. 6.5/10. Given how cheap it is usually, I'd recommend!
