Left 4 dead but Alien. Sure it scratches the itch but no one plays this game.
Meh... It's a horde shooter... set in the Alien franchise... essentially Alien Swarm but waaaay worse. There are 3 types of enemies: paperweights, bullet sponges and extreme bullet sponges. To say the least, this game is not lore-accurate and the bland story does not do justice to the IP. Misson objectives usually involve entering a new area, defending against a horde, then moving to the next room, defending against another horde to then proceed to the next room and fending off yet another horde etc. - very linear level design. Enemies spawn in droves, move along predefined paths and lack animations to organically move over obstacles. Classes play very similarly, except for what guns you can bring: Small arms are essentially irrelevant, while heavy weapons, like the smartgun, are comically overpowered. Every class, no matter the equipped weapon, can roll around like it's Fortnite; every class brings the 'motion tracker' which works perfectly reliable, doesn't require an equipment slot and only highlights enemies (more formidable foes even get a colored dot). There is very little strategy and barely any way to communicate with your fellow marines. Instead, you are ALWAYS told via command coms where the next group of enemies is coming from. Sheesh! There are some positives: The levels LOOK beautiful. The upgrade and challenge systems are enticing. It can also be fun to play together with 2 friends. Yes, a 'fireteam' consists of 3 marines - not 5 or 4, just 3 dudes. tldr; honestly, if you're not fond of co-op horde shooters, you can safely skip this one. Play Alien Swarm or Aliens: Dark Descent instead.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Pros: *Overwhelming amount of guns and skins you can grind for *Easy matchmaking with friends (Or online when game was in it's prime) *Cross-play *Gun leveling for bonus perks as well as skill tree for abilities *Multiple games modes for variety *Fun to play with friends but can easily play solo *Decent graphics and gameplay mechanics but nothing revolutionary Cons: *Robo companions suck on solo especially on higher levels. Constant stepping into your line of fire or shooting you in the back *Levels can get very long and repetitive especially playing on each difficulty multiple times to level up. *Higher difficulties have xeno's become bullet sponges requiring max guns attributes and special stats but sometimes still feels not enough *Currency is easy to obtain but in low amounts. Requires extensive grinding even with daily challenges and bonus cards thrown in. *Matchmaking can be hit or miss with competent players or newbies. (Doesn't bother me but could definitely annoy some people with constant deaths.) *Tons of outfits but many look the same Overall game is highly recommended. Gives you lots of weapons to grind for and is way more fun to play with friends. Find myself coming back to play in between other games. Easy game to just chill and play without thinking to much or stressing.

why the hell is there no text or voice chat??
Light 4 /10
On a basic functional level the game is what it says on the store page. You go in with three marines (either players or you and two bots) and you fight waves of aliens in various levels. It has a simplicity I want to appreciate, you pick a level, a class, a loadout, and go in a level to complete some objectives and kill aliens. Unfortunately it's execution unimpressive. The waves all seem staggered in a way where they all go on a bit too long, especially if you're just holding a point. I often felt like I was just waiting for it to be over already so I can move on. The weapon feedback and sound is very lackluster. The soundtrack is atrocious. It works, it's playable, maybe give it a chance on a deep sale. I just felt very unsatisfied while playing it.
excelente, pero con amigos xD
