Trudno to nazwać fabułą. Kolorowa i pixelkowa. W sumie miła dla oka. Sterowanie też w porządku (grałem na padzie). 5/10

She isn't getting rescued kid. AMR is an amateurish platformer where you must use a size changing mechanic to navigate puzzle levels. The graphics and sound are functional, if a bit hard on the senses, and the controls are passable. The speed at which your character moves when small sized is not passable however and is a constant annoyance. This plays like someones 1st game project, it's complete and does everything that it tries to do but doesn't really try to do anything difficult or interesting.
Good
-um
Bad
-boring as hell -placeholder assets not recommended unless you are looking for a simple children's game, and even then there are much better options
1/5
Too linear. Basic platformer with sluggish controls. You can get stuck. Story is generic. Music is extremely monotonous - and not in the relaxing but annoying way. Massive tearing. Change of language does nothing. Keeps using the system language. Only the graphics is cute-ish.
This game may sound like a children's everyday game, but it's actually a neat puzzle platformer. This puzzle solving is ingenious, the character I actually find adorable, and the programming is well designed. Anyone who's into platforming games, who want to try something new, this is the game for them.
Yeah, put about 20 minutes into this and I'm good. It's a retro platformer with reasonably decent pixel art and that's honestly it. I'm not entirely convinced that this isn't just default assets from some game creation program, either. Also there's like a 10 second loop of music that upset me greatly. It crashed, i'm confident that the good reviews on steam are from fake accounts, and i suspect that it may be a money laundering scheme for the French mafia or some ♥♥♥♥. Keep on the look out for the GOTY edition preorder from gamestop.
Alice's Mom's Rescue is a puzzle platfomer where you have to collect keys (and sometimes activate levers) to open doors that will eventually lead you to the exit. There are 25 levels in total. It incorporates a mechanic where you can shrink and get back to your normal size by jumping on certain mushrooms, thus allowing you to reach areas that would otherwise be inaccesible. I really enjoyed this game, but the thing that bothered me was that the whole gimmick of the game, which is basically that you have to "memorize" the specific path you have to follow to get the keys in the right order and not lock yourself in the level, is a little bit annoying. Even the slightest mistake, such as getting a key before you get another, or jumping to a falling platform before you're supposed to, will inevitably make you have to start the level again. I think the game would benefit a lot from a "look up/down" function, since sometimes you just have to jump down blindly without knowing if that's the best next step. In summary, there is A LOT of trial and error, and sometimes you just have to repeat a single level so many times that it actually becomes a bit frustrating. All in all, it was still super fun to play (albeit not in a single sitting). Took me 3 hours to finish, but that includes a lot of trial and error on single levels.
It's an ok puzzle platformer but there is no sense of achievement in the game and the levels feel repetitive and boring. Most definitely not worth the asking price. What makes the game annoying are: 1. Oddly located checkpoints that make no sense because you can get stuck with the puzzle even after getting checkpoints and you have to restart the level from menu. 2. There are a lot of gems strewn around for you to pickup without any purpose. You don't get extra lives or any bonuses from gathering gems. You don't need extra lives because the game gives you infinite lives. So the only reason to get all gems is to get a "perfect complete" message at the end of the level. But there is neither a steam achievement nor an in-game achievement for perfect completion. So why bother? 3. Levels are repetitive and boring. Every level looks the same. 4. The slow movement speed of shrunken Alice is annoying. Why should her speed change with her size? Just to watch her crawl on your screen? Doesn't make any sense
