Airship Dragoon is an exciting and visually stunning game! The gameplay is smooth, with engaging combat and strategic elements. The art style is charming, and the story keeps you hooked. A fantastic experience for fans of action and adventure games! Highly recommended!

The combat system could be a little better, but overall it's insanely fun. More of something for playing in portions rather than sitting down and playing for awhile.
Игра для тех кто желает подумать над чем то не очень увлекательным. За то есть карточки))
With respect to the developers, I would not recommend this game. The reasoning follows: For the most part, it feels more like it should be a mobile game. The UI feels somewhat cluttered with information that really doesn't matter. I had to navigate through several windows to reach weapons information, but then had to go to another screen entirely to equip my men. In addition, when I wanted to buy a new airship, I clicked "buy airship". Yet it did not bring up a menu for purchasing airships as one would expect. Instead, it gave an error message stating that I didn't have enough money. It continued to do this as I gained more money, never telling me how much one costs. In addition to the UI, there's the issue that much of the game feels empty. There is no roleplay, no research and there are no quests/missions. It is literally just going from battle to battle with a randomly-selected objective and a randomly-selected map. Speaking of battle: after 2 battles, I can't play the game anymore. Each battle took almost an hour to complete with only 15 soldiers and about as many enemies. I had to seek out the enemy, as they were all hidden. This would add to the gameplay, except for the fact that the maps are so needlessly large and filled with wasted space that it just starts to feel like a slog in the middle of a battle. Controls are not much better. They are so alien compared to the hundreds of games in my library and hundreds more I've played outside of Steam over the years. In order to move a soldier on the battlefield, you can't click them, you have to cycle through them with a button. To top that off, there is no overhead view, just a 3rd person camera for each soldier, so you're stuck cycling and messing with your camera for EVERY SINGLE SOLDIER on EVERY TURN. It was exhausting to the point that I just didn't want to bring a full squad. Overall: I love the idea of this game. I desperately wish we had more Steampunk games, especially with airships. I love the idea of managing a company of soldiers in a Steampunk world. Yet this game desperately lacks anything I can consider a game. Nothing is explained, the UI is a mess and behind that UI there is nothing of substance. I had to go to the discussions board just to find out that much! And most of the discussions are dead!
Tags: TBS - Turn Based Strategy Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Cant get to any real gaming experience due to frustrating UI and unconventional control schemes, rules and mechanics. Strange hybrid concept. Dated. Game is getting to look dated and I have a variety of polished quality turn based strategy games, third person shooter games, tactical games so I do not need some kind of strange hybrid. Frustrating user interface. The overmap is disappionting, with a HQ tile, flat grid to explore, but I only managed to move my dirigible once and I button mashed for quite a while trying different combination of keys that would make sense. Made even more confusing with the turns as you do not know if something does not move because you did not issue the order right or because the turn is over. The audiovisual presentation is a little bit basic but would be servicable if the rest of the game was good. I am suspecting that if I tried to conquer a tile from a foe a third person shooter type instance would open for us to duke things out and determine who gets the tile. I am sure there is potential to make a good game using this kind of a design skeleton but the execution here did not come together at all into any kind of a coherent experience on my end. Removed for declutter. Conclusion: The store featuring the realism mod and the 21.99 CAD price also contribute to my negative impression. Reassuring me that it is not me that is not giving this game of chance but that there is some confusion in whats on offer in this product.
