A cute story about 2 awkward individuals who have known each other for so long learning to love and recognize their charm though the mean of living together. It’s surprising that there isn’t any comedy in this story and it’s 100% pure romance. If you want an interesting story, this is not for you; but on the other hand, if you like to have something relaxing to read after a busy day then you’re gonna love Aikagi.

There's nothing especially WRONG with it, but there really isn't too much reason to play it either. It doesn't offer anything new or different, no extra spice (it doesn't even have comedy, which might've helped), nothing stands out even a little bit, except for the great art. I enjoyed it in short bursts more or less, even though it's short (took me 8 hours), but I'd only recommend if you're really out of VNs to play and you absolutely love cute romantic slice of life stories. As far as the general tone of the game goes, it reminds me of Hoshi Ori Yume Mirai, but to simply put, the writing is just night and day between the two. It's not like Hoshi Ori is super interesting or anything (considering the genre), but the characters are a lot more unique, and we get a deeper look at their personalities, we learn new things about them and I could go on. None of that here. I very hesitantly recommend the game, because there's really nothing wrong with it. It's not bad. But you can find plenty of better ones. Get it if you really want to, it's relaxing and cute, but not much else.

I define it as Aikagi. This game is truly wonderful and my words cannot even begin to describe how amazing it truly is. The visuals are stunning and the sheer amount of plot that was fit into this game is truly remarkable. 11/10 i like hentai

Played on Linux using Proton 7.0 also using [i]the patch[/i]. The game crashed a few lines after the dream. solved by removing [i]the patch[/i] and then reapply it after moving to the next scene. Other than that, this is really a wholesome romance VN. I really love the heroine. She's cute and adorable in many ways. Something good to enjoy when you have nothing else to do.

[/h1] Aikagi is a fairly short visual novel (~3-4 hours) that's all about you, your childhood friend, and the feelings you develop for her as you move in together. There's not much in terms of a serious plot, it's a very light-hearted story with one ending. 10/10 Get the patch ;)
