I've been playing a lot of Slay the Spire and this has some elements that are really similar to that. With a nice twist that brings in tower defense. Great game, juicy sound effects, and some great art. Ive been waiting for the full release since playing the free demo for months. The new towers are so much fun. If you like tower defense games and things like slay the spire you will like this.
An honest, simple TD game. It has all of the classic elements of it, plus progression. Nothing fancy or super original, but what it does it does good. Recomended.
The age of enchantment is upon us. Defend Wizardlandia from the oncoming forces of Bobby "Demon" Kotick. He's trying to get into our kingdom and sell more Call Of Duty games, but this will not stand! You play as Jason "Trombone" Warborn. Your mission? Do not let Bobby in. No matter the cost. This is a very fun and short tower defense game with beautiful graphics, cool music and addictive gameplay. I hope this one will get a sequel, because it's truly great. Stop Bobby and let your empire prosper. The less Activision influence in your town, the better outcome for the future of mankind. Cheers!
I am fully convinced the music in the game is AI generated (which is a bit distracting to me), and I didn't see this game listed with an "AI Generated Content Disclosure". The gameplay seemed alright but I just wasn't connecting with it for some reason so I didn't continue.
An absolute let down. It was my favorite demo during next fest and an absolute 1st buy for the Spring Sale. The changes between those two events has made the game unplayable. The main issue is the fatigue on the levelled up tower cards. Essentially you either get stuck with tons of level 1 towers or have to sell out and go for like 3 level 4 towers. Its a very boring development and a terrible design choice. Game is unplayable compared to 2 months ago. Very sad situation.
Best Tower Defense since BLOONS!!!!!!!!
Отличная игра, простая, но при это глубокая, залипал ещё в демку, теперь залипаю в полную версию. 100% рекомендую.
I received this game to play on stream and while i haven't had the chance to do that yet, just trying this game this morning to even see if i would want to play it for awhile, has caused me to play it for most of the day xD it is so much fun and i can no wait for any updates this game may have, also the music is bopping xD 1000/10 game. Also i need this on phone at some point so i can lay in bed and play it when im sick xD
The game is fun from an intro perspective. The fact that the mechanics aren't designed to be balanced makes it fun to see certain combos dominate rounds of enemies. I would like to see a mode where wave 25/25 isn't the end but you can do +1 wave and each extra wave the enemies gain increasingly more challenging buffs that keep stacking until they ultimately overwhelm you. Giving you a chance to hit higher scores beyond the challenges. My kids wish the game had some sort of co-op mode to allow for group fun.
Played the demo enough to make me buy it. I like how each tower type has its own set of specializations that it can upgrade into. The deckbuilding feels fun and the artifacts feel enjoyable to add into the game. I want more out of the game (maps/artifacts/challenges/cards/etc) but hard to complain about that when I already put 8 hours into a game I bought for $8. Oh also, works fine on steam deck. Just need to set one of the buttons to be a shift key and it works. Maybe small-ish text but that is it.
