Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The world is old… ancient.
The tales you are about to hear are lost in the nights of time.
Two moons still shone in the sky, and the world was still young, prehistoric and wild.
Only Atlan, the land of the created, still carried faint glimmers of civilization.
But even it was already too old, too decadent… and would soon vanish forever.
So let me tell you the memories of those ancestral days,
of men and women who fought, prayed, loved, and hated,
so that all would not be lost.
Let me tell you…
The Age of Barbarians’ Chronicles.
An ancient lost land called Atlan, full of legends, mysteries, prehistoric beasts, nightmarish creatures and dangers of all kinds, populated by civilizations with ancient customs and unique mythology.
The art of combat involves dodges, parries, blocks, attacks of various types, counterattacks, rolls, unbalances, special powers, and blood-filled fatalities.
The ancient dungeons of Atlan conceal numerous treasures, including powerful weapons, shields, armor, helmets, rings, and so on, which increase your combat efficiency.
Age of Barbarians Chronicles is drenched in old-school spirit, from its RPG system, based on the tabletop game of the same name, to its Sword & Sorcery setting and classic dungeon-crawling exploration.
Join forces with a friend and plunge into the savage world of Atlan. Explore deadly dungeons, uncover ancient treasures, and battle together to survive the campaign.
A party of adventurers is stronger than one hero alone. However, remember that both treasure and experience points are shared among companions.
Many dungeons are carefully hand-designed, but at the same time, you will encounter many others that are procedural, offering you countless combinations and making each exploration unique and rewarding.

I love this series and this latest installment is probably the most ambitious regarding game design. Unfortunately this title is very give and take, lots of cool moments and also lots of rough or buggy experiences as well. The biggest offenses are disappearing items such as healing potion you know you did use but the will take them randomly at times. This wouldn't be an issue if they returned each time you respawn but in this game your items never replenish in your inventory. If you're lucky some areas you are given a free health refill but not regularly. Drops are often underwhelming with a crazy imbalance of antidotes and bandages discovered but barely useful weapons, armor or even health potions. Leveling up is annoying because your state allocation can only occur when your party has a "Quiet Night" which is at random. You might be unlucky and either constantly be ambushed or captured which is alright but some time you just want to level up. The village is alright but it a drag going to the tavern since you can't use the run button. I hate for this to seem like I didn't appreciate the good moments which again were many especially the vibe since in all honesty THIS IS THE ONLY GAME that gives a proper Barbarian film / game feel or vibe. Also the only that proudly makes it apparent that this is an adult's game, not as a typical NSFW title but tone and feel that this could be a Savage Sword of Conan adventure. Meaning plenty of blood and tasteful nudity (though it's been awhile since I play the first game & Arena, but it's been said this is toned down in that respect compared to the earlier titles). Regardless I'm glad this game finally came out and despite some rough spots I enjoyed returning to this harsh world ruled Wizards & Warriors!!! Hopefully there will be more adventures to come!!!!
Another excellent entry in the Age of Barbarians franchise. Keep 'em coming!
Great Fun and that is what it is all about!
This has so much potential to be a classic. Pulp 80s side scrolling beat-em-up action adventure with some RPG progression and mechanics. The game focuses around dungeon exploration, finding loot and traveling around the map following the story of the main character (man or women.) In classic 80s fashion. Both wear next to nothing when it comes to clothing (that is the point.) Certain attacks trigger a cutscene and its hilarious. Developers are still slowly adding and improving the game as well are very active. Can't wait to see what this can potentially become in the future.
This game plays as good as how it feels to watch the original Beastmaster movie. Rastan would be pleased game is only 19 bucks. Now if only I could play this game with the music from Rastan but not all wishes in life can be fulfilled. Nuff Said
Great grame
Very Good Game!!! Love it! Hope more content will be created further!
This game is awesome. It has great gameplay. It feels like an old Conan novel come to life. It has lots of blood, violence, and nudity; it literally feels like those old barbarian movies. There is a little bit of grinding, but it is not monotonous. The grinding is scaled down compared to other games, so you will not spend 24 hours trying to level up all the time. 10 out of 10. I highly recommend if you like a 2D game with some good 3D animation.
cool game liked the direction the story is going but its too short. could added more side quests. I did not care much for the sci fi nod at the end tho its kinda breaking, out the emersion of the series when character busts out Mac ray gun. as the mac guffin to defeat the bad guy. not deal breaker but just saying. They have this great world map , I feel this game is unfinished as they only have one village you can revisit to resupply and buy weapons. once you complete the mission the location goes away same with the procedual quests in red they disappear from the map when done which is ok for the procedual missions, but it making the world feel very empty. I liked the past games where I could revist a location if I wanted too find its secrets ( like the pool bath sceen in the last barbarian game , does not have to be pool could be cool slice of life in barbaria moment to be found in game. like spear fishing or something) Random encounters are cool tho wish it was not just monsters maybe a team of Rogak or other factions. A random merchant Caravan encounter or just random rp encounter on the road would be cool too. more monsters would be dope maybe a few simple monster lair on the map. like bear in cave or something. ) They had a few key quest markers and a bunch of random procedural dungeons to crawl through. they should of built more locations to revisit and maybe revisite some old locations from past games. I thought the pool location in last barbarian game was nice touch. there was no puzzel to solve. There are cities on the map not used. , there is a hint of a mission from a inn keeper you never get to play. and you never get to track down the traitor who sets you up for the Trap sequence. the battle segment was cool . I also wish they did more with the people you save in the game. like see them back at your village or your own Castel or something. biggest dislike - what your character is wearing never matched up in the cut scenes. the Nudity in the game is just breasts, there is no full montey for either sex. and even with the nudity option selected you still get a few female characters wearing nipple pasties.(a modern invention from the 1920's that looks out of place in the age of barbaria, just my opinion) and how come there are no female Rogak or Beast women to fight in game. the voice acting was terrible but i feel that is part of its charm. all in all its a cool game just wish it was more.
