Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The world is old… ancient.
The tales you are about to hear are lost in the nights of time.
Two moons still shone in the sky, and the world was still young, prehistoric and wild.
Only Atlan, the land of the created, still carried faint glimmers of civilization.
But even it was already too old, too decadent… and would soon vanish forever.
So let me tell you the memories of those ancestral days,
of men and women who fought, prayed, loved, and hated,
so that all would not be lost.
Let me tell you…
The Age of Barbarians’ Chronicles.
An ancient lost land called Atlan, full of legends, mysteries, prehistoric beasts, nightmarish creatures and dangers of all kinds, populated by civilizations with ancient customs and unique mythology.
The art of combat involves dodges, parries, blocks, attacks of various types, counterattacks, rolls, unbalances, special powers, and blood-filled fatalities.
The ancient dungeons of Atlan conceal numerous treasures, including powerful weapons, shields, armor, helmets, rings, and so on, which increase your combat efficiency.
Age of Barbarians Chronicles is drenched in old-school spirit, from its RPG system, based on the tabletop game of the same name, to its Sword & Sorcery setting and classic dungeon-crawling exploration.
Join forces with a friend and plunge into the savage world of Atlan. Explore deadly dungeons, uncover ancient treasures, and battle together to survive the campaign.
A party of adventurers is stronger than one hero alone. However, remember that both treasure and experience points are shared among companions.
Many dungeons are carefully hand-designed, but at the same time, you will encounter many others that are procedural, offering you countless combinations and making each exploration unique and rewarding.

A true hidden gem, shining as brightly as the sapphires nestled inside treasure chests hidden beneath the ivory towers of the lost cities imagined by Robert E. Howard, Lin Carter, and the other great masters of Sword & Sorcery. This game is a remarkable tribute to their timeless worlds. If you love classic fantasy and masterpieces like Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow over Mystara or, more recently, Dragon's Crown, you simply cannot afford to miss this game. The combat system is easy to learn yet surprisingly deep to master. As you carve your way through rivers of blood and severed limbs flying in every direction, you'll develop your character through a satisfying old-school loot system, collecting treasures and acquiring new weapons, armor, helmets, rings, necklaces, and much more. The dungeons are a joy to explore, packed with secrets and unapologetically old school. They are inhabited by creatures that look as though they stepped straight out of a Ray Harryhausen film or one of Frank Frazetta's legendary paintings. Every location captures the raw, epic atmosphere of classic Sword & Sorcery—a genre that is all too rarely represented today with such authenticity and passion. This is a magnificent game, clearly crafted by people who genuinely love and understand the Sword & Sorcery genre. I can't wait for expansions and new content, because to me this is a truly one-of-a-kind experience in today's gaming landscape. Bravo, Criansoft!

I loved this game. I bought it because it reminded me of the Barbarian: The Ultimate Warrior game from th 80's. Of course this came is way easier do to controllers. I also loved that it had the same cheesy story style of the 80's and though it's been said to be AI it looks like the same terrible animations from the 80's and 90's. The downside I saw was that I was massively over leveled quick do to the exp going to who gets the kill. My team couldn't keep up with how they almost never attacked and would stand there. I will say they helped me on a glitched boss fight where it kept making me auto-attack when I wanted to dodge. I had to stand to the side of the room while they killed the boss for me, very slowly. It would have also been nice to have a way of healing you team. I guess in short it was a lot of nestalgia that kept me playing this and less of the decapitation animations, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy slicing monsters up. lol
This franchise really brought a lot of joy, and I thoroughly recommend it to any enjoyer of sword and sorcery themed entertainment. The world is phenomenally detailed, and the story is original and lovingly told. The 2D art is phenomenal, and it really stands alone - a uniquely crafted artwork to be thoroughly enjoyed. For now, Arena remains the high-water mark for cutscene art, because of the experimentation that has been done on this one. I would love an update that brings back the Arena-styled cutscenes (although I understand it requires massive amounts of work to add that touch of class). The world map has a lot of room, so here's to the possibility of DLC. Support this highly original work!
JUEGAZO 😎👍💛🌟
I think this is a decent enough game with a lot of laughs to be had and cool stuff to see. I don't really think taking the rigid combat system from the original game and transplanting it verbatim into a game with a Z axis where fights have more bodies was the right choice. The stamina/parry/roll system just doesn't work very well here. Lots of jank overall. Feels a little light on content compared to the original but I think that had been out and updated for like a decade when I bought it. Worth experiencing for the genre fan.
The first game was wonderful, and this one is no different. I’ve been playing for hours nonstop. Looking forward to the next release.
Malísimo. Da pena ajena un juego en pleno 2026 con unas animaciones tan horribles
