I dunno about this one. It'd be alright if it weren't for a creature chasin' ya down while ur in the middle of exploration. It also seems that you cant explore the buildings for long. A consumption will occur if ya stay inside. I did like the sound effects..mainly the foot steps. They actually sounded realistic. No voice over work unfortunately. The price tag is fine for what ya get here. Middle thumb. Gameplay Impressions: https://youtu.be/LoChDsUCcUk
Tani survival horror wykonany tanim kosztem. Zajęło mi to pół godziny a zaczynałem grę dwa razy. Audio ujdzie. Ogólnie nic ciekawego. Nie warto.
I’m not sure about this one. It could’ve been decent if not for the creature constantly chasing you during exploration—it really breaks the flow. You also can’t stay inside buildings for long, since a “consumption” event happens if you linger too much, which makes exploration feel restricted. On the plus side, the sound design is pretty good—the footsteps sound realistic, which adds some nice atmosphere. There’s no voice acting, though, which makes the world feel a bit empty. Overall, the price is fair for what you get, but it’s hard to fully recommend. A solid middle thumb from me.
Pretty good VERY short game, gave some good scares and great world building.
On the whole, there's a few too many rough edges on this very simple game. I wouldn't recommend it even at a high discount. The physics are quite buggy. I got stuck on wooden walkways and ended up jumping and getting stuck on the wrong side of an invisible wall at one point. Despite left control to crouch being listed in the controls, it doesn't work. The whole game is very rudimentary, more like a test project or alpha build. I liked the fog and the swampy atmosphere, but it doesn't really last. There's a lack of environmental story-telling, and even if there was you wouldn't be able to enjoy it due to the time limit present inside buildings. The few notes were well-written enough. The monster felt like an afterthought, added purely for a sense of threat. According to other reviews it seems like he was obnoxiously oppressive prior to an update, so I'm glad he wasn't as much of a pain in the arse to deal with for me, but he does feel pretty pointless just roaming about. The biggest danger actually came from the environment, as it was while attempting to avoid him that I bounced around an invisible wall. Between the monster and the time limit in buildings I felt like I was just holding shift and zooming around trying to get to the end. There was an ending, which I was able to get despite the grimoire bugging out in my inventory, so the game is functional. I just wish it could've been more polished and had more substance to it.
