This review is based purely on the base game (and I think three of the DLCs - I can't be bothered to check at the moment >.<) The game itself I love. I love the art style and the actual flow of a match. I will say that I wish more of the content that was included in DLCs were base. Like some of the roster additions should have been included purely because of timing, as well as if they were gonna be late, they should have at least been their up to date persona. Now here is my main gripe. And I know this may seem silly but it is what turned me off from the game.... There is no true female career mode. I got this because WWE games are WAY overpriced (omfg wtf are they even doing with 2k26 over there...) and the ones available didn't have a female career mode in the ones that were at the time "affordable" for me. This one was SUPPOSED to have that. Legit if it was something they actually marketed (dunno if they did) then I'd have demanded a refund. You do get to make a female character. You START out in the female division, fighting other females.... and then one day you get asked to do a mix-gender match. And from there on it's like the story forgot your character was female because it's all fighting the guys from there. After this happened repeatedly I just stopped. So overall, sadly its a down for me.

It's really fun, but lacks content...
I only played this for about 15 minutes, but apparently, that's all I needed to know with certainty that this game is objectively worse than WWE 2k series. Whether or not it's an arcade counterpart to WWE 2k's simulation doesn't save a bad game from potentially being good. The hitboxes just feel very off. There's no natural flow with any of the moves. Animations are stiff as hell. I would expect this from amateur devs who have never programmed before, not from veterans who originally worked on WWE 2k. I feel glad that I bought this on sale, but it doesn't even feel like it's worth that much. It's a $1 bargain game if I'm being serious.
There is a bug in this game when you play it. Whenever I get to the pausemenu And press ESC to get back to the game, it just will not respond. You are stuck in pausemenu
