Aero's Crash... todo el rato se rompe el juego, si bien es divertido, es imposible jugarlo de corrido.
Got Aero's Quest as part of a bundle, and it turned out to be a nice edition to my library. SNES-style game that has hours of fun. :)
2/10
Managed to play 16minutes of this game, with it crashing 3 times. Now uninstalled unfortunatley, i was enjoying the game play.
Game is unplayable. Crashed on first attempt to start a game. Second attempt had horrible slowdown about 10 minutes to the point that a fade out screen took 15 seconds. Checked the forums, others have had these problems as well. Even if it did run smoothly, the game doesn't appear to do anything mechanicly unique or particularly interesting in the basic platforming genre. It lacks a cohesive visual design and has no polish. Nothing to recommend it above other better offerings in the genre.
Aero's Quest is a platformer boasting 100 levels, but unfortunately, it falls flat on nearly every front. This game, seemingly created in GameMaker and likely the developer's first attempt, fails to deliver a compelling or enjoyable experience. The visuals in Aero's Quest are dull and uninspired. The art style lacks any unique flair, making it difficult to differentiate it from the countless other mediocre platformers out there. There’s no creativity or charm in the design, leaving players unimpressed and uninterested. One of the cardinal sins of any platformer is poor hitbox detection, and Aero's Quest is guilty of this in spades. The hitboxes are atrocious, making it nearly impossible to avoid obstacles with any consistency. This fundamental flaw leads to a lot of unfair deaths and a significant amount of frustration. In a genre where precision is key, Aero's Quest fails miserably. The controls in Aero's Quest are another major drawback. They feel inconsistent and random, a fatal flaw for any platform game. Instead of feeling in control of the character, players will find themselves fighting against the game’s mechanics, which detracts from any potential enjoyment or satisfaction. Adding to the list of disappointments is the game's music. The soundtrack is so monotonous and dull that it quickly becomes grating. Rather than enhancing the gaming experience, it detracts from it. Playing Aero's Quest was a frustrating experience from start to finish. The combination of lackluster graphics, terrible hitboxes, poor controls, and irritating music made for a game that was more infuriating than fun. It’s a relief to be done with it, and there’s no desire to revisit or recommend this game to anyone. Aero's Quest is a prime example of what can go wrong in a platformer. It feels like an unfinished project that should have spent more time in development. Unless you’re looking for a lesson in how not to design a platform game, it’s best to avoid Aero's Quest altogether.
