About
Aerial_Knight’s Dropshot is a high-speed, stylized FPS / Race where you play as Smoke Wallace. As a kid, he was bitten by a radioactive dragon, turning his skin purple and giving him the power to fire bullets from his fingertips. Thrown into deadly sky battles for revenge, you race rivals, fight dragons, move fast, shoot smart, and look cool when you land.

Survive the Fall: Race against four other players to reach the ground first — and stay alive.
Limited Ammo: Start with only limited ammo. Use it wisely to eliminate threats & protect yourself.
Slipstream Speed: Use your enemies’ slipstreams to gain speed, but they can do the same to you.
Quick Rounds: Each round lasts 30-60 seconds — fast-paced action that never lets up.
Dynamic Visuals: Stunning environments and thrilling perspectives as you plummet toward the earth.
Intense Soundtrack: Pulse-pounding music and sound effects with some style
Different Modes

In Aerial_Knight’s DropShot, you’ve got three unique ways to throw yourself out of a perfectly "good" plane:
Standard Mode – You and a swarm of enemies are dropped into freefall. Take out as many as you can before hitting the ground while dodging bullets, avoiding obstacles, and making sure you’re not the one getting taken out.
Boss Battles – Face off against massive, over-the-top bosses in midair. Deal as much damage as possible before they either wipe you out or beat you to the ground. All while avoiding deadly traps, jamming to a dope soundtrack, and keeping your head on a swivel.
Race Challenges – Go head-to-head with your persistent rival in a high-speed dive to capture a falling Egg before they do. Hit slipstreams, grab score multipliers, and watch out every time you beat them, they’ll upgrade their gear and come back faster in the next race.
Live out your dream of finger-blasting multiple enemies as you all fall to your death.

This is my favorite game from Aerial Knight yet! Love the vibrant art style, catchy music (especially the last two blocks of levels) and off the wall narrative. It feels very satisfying to hit the enemies and the music keeps repeated deaths from getting too frustrating. My one downside is that since the bosses are usually out of view, it can be pretty tricky to even get an opportunity to shoot at them, I usually just barely make it to the end. But otherwise, I had a fantastic time with this game. You can get through it in about 2 hours but will definitely need a lot more to get those sweet S+ ranks.
I played some of the beta and this is a great step up after all that testing! The gameplay is very fun and quick. Punchy even (shooty?). I was planning to play 10 levels and go do something else, but I ended up playing 25 levels instead. I love how quick the levels are and the strange lore! I hope to beat this game, which actually seems possible, because they didn't try to make some huge 40 hour adventure that no one my age can finish anymore. A very well made game that has me going for more and more.
This game has a lot of style in it's design, UI, and polish. It is addicting to try and S+ rank which mainly comes from learning your route, conserving ammo through pick ups/accuracy, and time. If you do the first two you don't really have to worry about the last one. It feels great to weave through lazers as you rack up kills. Using all your tools like melee to get reloads or get through a line of enemies helps a lot. The premise is arcady and effective at getting you lock in on the gameplay. I have S+ most of the first two chapters and there is a lot left. A few things I did have an issue with were the powerups which are cool and stylish but are random so are hard to use and predict. It would be nice to have them be predetermined so you can also plan around them. The dragon was cool and speeds you up but I could not see the bottom of the screen and wasn't sure if it was killing enemies for me. Level 11 also has an enemy to the right and an island you can't see which will insta kill you so that was a small thing that got me. The last QOL features would be an exit button on the main menu for controller. Selecting the level you were just on when you finish a level and return to the select menu. Maybe a retry button on the end of level screen as well. I think this game would be perfect for Steam leaderboards to really push the time aspect. Having fun with it so far and looking forward to seeing what the rest has in store.
This game is hella fun so far! The art style and the music pulled me in, but the gameplay is what makes it so addicting. The itch to get S++ kept pulling me back in. I found myself replaying levels over and over to try and find the best routes to take out all the enemies before hitting the bottom. Taking out multiple enemies consecutively feels super rewarding. The sense of speed feels good, the powerups are crazy (I turned into a damn dragon once!) and it's an overall good time. The loop is satisfying enough that you'll want to keep grinding, but it's easy enough to pop in and out of for a quick session, which is good if your time to game is limited like mine during the week.
Aerial_Knight is back with another stylish, arcadey, and fun game. I've been a fan of Knight's work with Never Yield and We Never Yield, both games that added a flair and narrative hooks to the "runner" genre. With DropShot, I'm once again hooked into his now signature design loop of quick hit levels that encourage you to replay over and over to beat your own score. Though I would have liked a narrative to connect things a bit tighter, I did find the short cutscenes to be hilarious so no harm no foul.
Have you ever played an Indie game and thought "oh yea I'm bout to grab anything they put out!" Cause this is how I feel with this game. The gameplay is simple yet refreshing with easy to learn mechanics, colorful scenery, and foot tapping music. DropShot is exactly what I need, at a time when my backlog is too big to manage, I can focus on a fun and fast paced unique experience. 5 stars!
Well worth the money! Really fun arcade style game with awesome music. So satisfying to hit enemies.
Slick, fun with a style that's completely unique, Aerial Knight's DropShot is a breath of fresh air whizzing past at 200 mph. The levels are perfectly timed, with some unique boss battles at the end of each pillar, a touch that I appreciated. The visuals are something else, bright, engaging, with a look that builds on the aesthetic AK's been building in his previous games. It's not all perfect - It can be a bit hard to pick out certain enemies at range, and while the reloading mechanic is solid design, a few more rounds in each clip would make a positive difference. Then again, my reflexes tend to lean towards spray and pray, so if the creator's vision in this area doesn't align perfectly with mine, so be it :D Can I call out the music, not just the menu tunes but the in-game stingers as well? Full of personality and weirdness, but cool as hell to listen to and not only complements the gameplay, but helps bring it to another level. Really, really well done. I've been playing the mobile version more due to lots of travel, but now that I'm back home I'll be focusing on the Steam version. Aerial Knight seems to be quite responsive to bug reports, and there have been quite a few updates including free content, not just bugfixes. Overall, Aerial Knight's best work yet. Congrats, you're leveling up and we love to see it. DropShot is an entertaining as hell game.
Fun, wild game with an absolute banger soundtrack. You use your finger gun to shoot telekinetic bullets at mercenaries and dragons while skydiving and dodging lasers. It's a game that can easily be completed in an afternoon/evening, but that's quite okay! It's a ton of fun!
I'm enjoying the game so far! I really love how colorful it is and it reminds me of a drawing. The only complaint I really have is that I wish there were more of those speed ring things..
