Adventure in the Tower of Flight is a gameboy-style pretty clearly inspired by the first couple Kid Icarus games. You can fly, shoot arrows, and have to make your way through some maze-like levels, fighting weird enemies. There is a plot, but the title sums it up: there's a tower, and you have to get to the top. The game controls well, and being able to have a good amount of freedom in the air is pretty fun. It's also decently laid-back unlike a lot of other platformers on Steam, and you can polish it off in a day if it grabs you. I recommend it.
Charming platformer. I would recommend to Kid Icarus fans.
I can enjoy the adventure in this game which accompanied with good soundtrack. Unfortunately, I dislike some elements in this game: - level design is linear. It has branches, but still linear. This linearity force you to have a good setup (potion / enhancement) before last room (boos fight) because you can't backtrack and farming if you feel underpowered. Can be game breaking for me. - big hitbox (maybe entire body) which basically make the mechanics feels wrong. - controller support is kindly lack (maybe steam or unity problem). - I get so many crashes (maybe steam problem) Still the adventure is enjoyable in normal mode :D
Get it on a promo 50% higher but there's a lot of games better than this one to play now days. The game is good for a one night stand. The game is simple and you can play it fast if you wish..there's not much catchs on the game and you can go no brainer, i played it on normal. NOW if you are a completionist i would evade this game, i completed it on normal and i read about it hardest achievement and i wouldn't bother..you need to train a lot to do it for a game that is not fun enough for such a hard challenge
3/10
This game is short and sweet! There isn't much you need to know before jumping in. I personally thought it would follow the Kid Icarus influence to a T, but the gameplay honestly reminds me more of Kirby sometimes. Either way, it has a modest goal as a game and delivers on it with some surprisingly solid gameplay. With the same enemies being seen throughout the whole thing, it's the level design and fun character tools that really make this game for me. The air movement and fighting really opens up for you
once you get the dash attack
early-game. In fact, I think this could make a good speed game, and someone else should try running this. I would have liked certain things implemented more often, like branching paths and more intensive tests of your flying abilities. I'm glad I finally sat down to give this one a shot, I saw there's DLC planned and I hope that launch goes well.
This game is a craving stone rowing a boat lurking around a stupid global head downwards in a spiral direction flashing your boobs in a traversing triangle
Not bad, not good, but still is worth a shot. I might have find some fun, or it's the nostalgia talking again... I'm not sure. In fact, a little more of polishment would be very welcome ( some items have no description, could use a better map, this kind of stuff...)
Very enjoyable 2D platformer with RPG elements in retro graphics.
Incluso me parecieron… fascinantes. A saber.
