a 20 minute philosophical textbased game. there are some issues with the english translation but that didn't bother me much. overall i think its pretty good.
Needs more options, but for a free game that's 12 megs, I didn't hate the 20 mins I played it. It's a simple philosphical text game. If you want to experience that, this game is for you.
"ADT Pilot 01" is a kind of Choose Your Own Adventure style E-book where you pretend you're controlling a machine that wants to nuke everyone and you have to choose the right text options to stop it. Despite being text only it's also badly translated, and when you only have one job and you do that wrong, you end up with a game that really is unrecommendable. Also, Choose Your Own Adventure books aren't really games, are they? No, no they are not. Nobody ever, ever sat down and flipped through a Choose Your Own Adventure book and then said "Wow, what a great game I just played!". This features really godawful, lazy pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics, and otherwise it's just all text. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks bad because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 3 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, that's nothing.
Interesting concept, but the execution is bland. By the end you can choose to explode or not, but the game just ends. Quits with no satisfaction of either ending.
i appreciate the idea behind this game but it lacks gameplay. yo make barely any choices in this game. its pretty boring too. great scrip, cool idea but not really enjoyable in this current state of developpment.
