Adam's Venture Chronicles is a decent adventure/puzzle game that can be completed 100% in less than 8 hours. If you like adventure games with a Tomb Raider feel (but less platforming), this is worth a try. It's nothing groundbreaking, but it offers a mix of exploration, puzzles and light-hearted storytelling that holds up surprisingly well. Visually, it still looks decent for a game that was originally released in 2009. The puzzles are the highlight of the game - ranging from simple to quite challenging, but logical and engaging. However, they are repetitive. One thing that immediately stands out is the fixed camera - it follows the character rather than being controlled by the player. There were a few minor bugs related to the camera and movement, but nothing game-breaking.

This is a simple adventure game about a young archeologist who works for an excavation company in search for a treasure. The game consists of 3 episodes and you find yourself in different destinations. As the story unfolds, the protagonist Adam Venture finds out the evil intentions of the company he works for and tries to stop them. Although it is simple and easy to progress, I must say that this is just a mediocre game at the very most. There is very little exploration and no item crafting at all, this is pretty disappointing for an archeology themed game. Puzzles are easy to average but they are very repetitive and unchallenging. The story is poorly written, without many details or interesting mystery, so it fails to create the feeling of tension and unease you expect from a conspiracy story. Character controls aren't so good and there are noticible bugs. Voice acting and characters are also poor. The protoganist Adam is a very immature guy without a charisma or a good sense of humour. If you have low expectations and want to gain easy achievements you can give it a try. But if you want a game with a decent story, characters and gameplay, I don't believe this game will satisfy you.

An interesting puzzle solving game that has a good story line. I do like that they combined the trilogy into a chronicles version.

[b]General:[/b] A decir verdad es un juego para pasar unos ratos, los puzzles de los 2 primeros episodios son bastantes simples y los del tercero un poco menos simples. [b]Historia:[/b] Sin hacer Spoliler, básicamente es una aventura del hijo de un erudito, que ayuda a un profesor a encontrar un tesoro relacionado con el bíblico salomón. Más adelante, son capturados y llevados a una prisión en el desierto de la cual hay que escapar y encontrar el verdadero templo de salomón. El personaje es totalmente odiable, no tiene carisma y es bastante estúpido (aunque resuelva los puzzles) [b]Gráficos:[/b] Los gráficos no son muy buenos pero es de esperar para un juego con varios años (2009 el primer episodio). Las animaciones son bastante malas, El salto de Adam es muy gracioso. [b]Música:[/b] Bastante bien, no llega a ser inmersiva, es demasiado cambiante y por momentos se escucha más fuerte que las voces de los personajes. [b]Gameplay:[/b] Es un juego clásico de plataformas y puzzles como Tomb Rider pero sin peleas, Es tranqui y eso está bueno. Con respecto a los movimientos, deja bastante que desear, son bastante duros. Por lo general podés correr contra un barranco y no caerte, pero hay momentos que si y nunca sabés cuando hasta que te caés.
