I'm honestly not sure why this is a miss for me. I was really excited for a shooter with this theme. The game isn't super well optimized, I've played much better looking games with alot more going on without issue. But Abyssus stutters fairly consistently. For some reason no matter how much I play around with the settings, the game looks like Im looking at it through a wet visor. Thematic sure- but annoying when I just want to read the UI. And I have no idea if it's intentional. Enemies are kind of boring, despite their varied appearances. There aren't a lot of them. Bosses are cool but get a bit boring or repetitive. Same goes for the "arenas" which are just rooms with differently wallpapered hallways connecting them. Weapons don't feel like they have any impact. You shoot, bad guys go away, it isn't very satisfying. Customization is fairly limited, in both build and cosmetics. The rogue-lite elements are...fine. Nothing that crazy. Upgrades look like you'll eventually max them all, so no build variety there. Story is....kinda cool? But barely there. Finding weapons feels very random. The game just drops you in (to a public match by default) after a tutorial that tells you nothing useful. I only learned you have to find new weapons after a group of high level people basically rushed me through a run. Overall it just feels unpolished and it's not in EA anymore. None of these on their own are dealbreakers and I hesitate to call it bad because I don't think it is, I'm sure there will be people who enjoy it. But it wasn't for me. I reccommend trying it on sale if you're interested.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I saw a post for this by the devs on instagram and decided to try it out with my girlfriend. we have since become obsessed with it and play it quite often. Thank you for such a great game. Its worth it.
Great contained Roguelite, enough variety to take you to the end.
Excellent 1-4 player rogue lite shooter. It plays fast like Doom Eternal.
