东方雪莲华 ～ Abyss Soul Lotus.

The art is good, the music is good. If you've never played touhou before, this would be a fun bullet hell. Probably worth picking up if it's on sale. But if you're coming from other touhou games, your intuition will work against you. Attempting to death-bomb will just make you more vulnerable. Bullets often appear from thin air, and sometimes fade into nothing. You'll be expecting a pattern in a stage portion, but the whole screen gets cleared before you get a chance to dodge it. Gone are the colorful, unique patterns that define touhou. Most attacks are either "rings radiating from the boss" or "bullets moving in random directions cover the screen". I wish I could enjoy this gameplay.
