Absolute Tactics: Daughters of Mercy

On the easier side of tactical RPGs. No perma death and not much grinding needed to get through the main story. Personally I didn't mind that at all and it was nice to just play through at a decent pace. The war scenarios and bosses keep things fresh and the class system is pretty simple. Maybe too simple if I'm being critical. I unlocked and maxed all the skill books and held onto them because I thought there was going to be some sort of merge feature later on to improve or add skills, but no what you see is what you get. A good trpg and the graphics are excellent and very charming. Story is straight forward and the twists are minor but it doesn't leave many loose ends. Also plays with no crashes or bugs from start to finish on steam deck. 8/10 overall. If you are stuck for new trpgs or are thinking of coming into the genre this is a gentle starting point to ease you in.

+ no random miss, crits, damage. Everything according to plan + nice design, I would tottaly play for villain side - very slow paced, especially war part, where you have to wait till 30 npc do their turn, with no way to speed things - controls for mouse are dreadfull, you can shoot empty space if you missclick - nothing stops you from taking your time, like you can go 999 turns if you want, promoting turtle strategy of recovering all your hp sp and buffs, then facing enemy (which could be 20 npc on a long map) game needs polishing

Really fun simple tactics game that let's you move your team on the grid without any lengthy or complicated set-up. One of the best SRPGs of recent years.

Попробовал демо версию и игра совершенно не понравилась. Просто в демке многие аспекты остаются непонятными и игра выгладит нагромождением всего. На текущей распродаже решил все таки дать игре шанс и не разочаровался. В полной версии ты изучаешь все игровые моменты постепенно и все выглядит очень даже неплохо. Отличная ненапряжная jrpg в стиле FF Tactics. Бои несложные, но интересные. Есть прокачка героев между миссиями и сундуки с лутом на картах. Какой никакой сюжет тоже имеется. Отличная игра на несколько вечеров.

I am enjoying Absolute Tactics so far. There's a good variety of enemies and abilities. Boss fights and wars keep it interesting

Each character can have dual classes which seems interesting and provides some nice variety. I enjoy the art style and there's nice variety in levels so far. The writing could use a little work, but overall I'm playing more for the gameplay than the story so its been an enjoyable experience.
