This is the very game that requires only one thing from you, freedom of thought, and most importantly, that you can move the convolutions of your brain backwards and sometimes forwards 10/10
Game looked cool. I liked the intro, soundtrack, the audio mixing and the level design, but it's unstable. In the bar, the game runs smoothly. Take the crowbar and walk down the stairs and the frame rate dropped to the point I couldn't leave the area. Only complaint is the optimization
i've played enough of it to say it sure has potential, its humor is a lot more blatently goofy and memey it kinda stands out a little. i do want it to keep getting expanded with updates. heres the problems tho: the shooting is really frustrating and janky, theres no sense that bullets are hitting enemies and dealing damage, combat in general is frustrating. i only managed up to a section with a bunch of hard to kill ambatukams got really frustrated and closed the game. heres my recording of it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X70aFd55XxY (30 last minutes of my playthrough where i got past the gate not included) it is kind of a nightmare to record, it gives me a headache and i wish there wore more options in the settings menu to prevent that (such as turning off motion blur and changing resolution etc.) im still not sure if im keeping the game, ill get through the demo and see what i think, i do think it is just a bit overpriced. ill say so far is a 5 to a 6 out of ten, its im really mixed on it because i love the music and the nonsense nature of the game but its just too frustrating to play.
I came into this game thinking it would be similar to cruelty squad but its clear I came in with the wrong mindset, This game is cruelty squad in aesthetic only and the ♥♥♥♥ ass reload mechanic. I have 0 idea what I was doing or what was happening but for the little time I spent playing it is definitely an experience that's going to be stuck in my head for a while.

I can't recommend Absolute Full-Life. I like the surreal art style and the way characters/enemies are modeled. The soundtrack is alright too, very fitting of the world. The saving at checkpoints and finding keys to progress I also enjoyed. The intro, although super edgy, was actually quite well done. The game also ran well for me hitting 144fps with no issues. However, there are some really glaring issues. Unfortunately, these are hindering enough for me to not continue playing. Firstly, the gunplay is attrocious, the weapons aren't hit scan, they all fire out a slow projectile which damages the enemy meaning hitting them is hard enough. On top of that, the guns essentially do no damage at all and ammo is super scarce. Gunplay feels really bad and unresponsive. The grenades are literally the only viable weapon I found that could deal with the enemies well. Secondly, the player hitbox is way too big. You can barely approach the catctus at the start of the game to disable them without taking damage yourself. You'll be constantly taking damage through walls and around corners during fights and enemies hit you from so far away that using the crowbar isn't viable. Finally, there is a bug where if you talk to an NPC and you've turned off the 'Warping' setting, it turns it back on everytime, which is a complete vomit-fest. Overall, I do think this game can be made into a fun experience. Adjust some of the things above and I think it could actually be quite good.
