Wow, terrible adaptation. The UI is really bad and introduces a whole new visual language vs the physical game. Stuff is hard to fine, hard to read, much too significant a departure from the physical version. Way too easy to forget to configure your optional yellow buildings to activate when activating production. So scoring preview, interface is jam packed and overloaded trying to display everything at the same time without tabs/pane/subpages/contextual switching. The only redeeming thing is the AI, which is not very strong but works. But if you are going to play this against humans, go play it for free on Yucata with a much better interface.
It's been awhile since I've played the actual physical copy of Lorenzo, and I've only played this solo against the AI. The Hard AI is still Experimental and I think it needs some work still because some games it does a good job blocking and anticipating moves while others, it doesn't. But for just getting the Lorenzo il Magnifico experience generally, this gets a big thumbs up from me.
The game itself - great, absolutely going to get my hands on the physical board game. The interface - it would be helpful to be able to see which ongoing bonuses you receive from the territories without having to exit from the main screen and flip through a virtual book to find them. Otherwise, it's intuitive and easy to use. The automation is great and the fact that it shows you your resources being moved across the abacuses when thinking about buying anything really helps with planning. Issues - it can be a bit buggy on 3P against the computer - often one of the AIs will be frozen taking their turn and you have to just abandon the game, potentially midway through. Likewise, there is no way to skip a turn if you end up in the situation of having only a "0" strength character and no servants whereas in real life you'd just say "pass, I can't do anything". There is also no undo. Unlimited undos are not necessary but a single undo would definitely make it more enjoyable, especially if learning the game/getting used to it. Overall - the game itself is great and for any Euro loving board gamer I would recommend either the physical or digital version. Due to it's slightly awkward interface in terms of identifying ongoing bonuses/etc and the bugs I've found I'd say my overall rating would be - game mechanics 5/5, digital version - 4/5.

This has always been one of my favorite board games, and this is a good implementation of the board game, but there are still (as of 2025) a lot of bugs. There are still a number of cards and powers that do not activate correctly. Bonuses are not always given and discounts from cards are not always applied correctly. Given the tightness of the game, it is disappointing to work toward getting certain card and leaders that give special powers/bonuses/discounts and then see them not working for the rest of the game.
You can support the Pope and sponsor a Crusade -> 10/10

Got this after trying Barrage from same Publisher. Really good game. Doesn't have online vs/pvp but fun to smash the AI if I didn't get enough gaming when we play our daily family board game. A really well designed board game developed into a very well put together PC game. If the AI freezes post playing the tutorial just restart and everything will work great from there.
Le jeu connaît des bugs à chaque partie, qui empêchent le jeu. Par ailleurs, les graphismes sont encore plus laids que le jeu de société d'origine, ce qui n'est pas peu dire....
This is a great implementation of the board game.
