Good game, hope it gets some updates or they'll make sth even better next time.
its got a vibey thing goin on
Thanks for this hidden gem, I had alot of fun playing it!! I love the OST in the calmer sections, especially the slow guitar. Art style and direction is also really amazing
Great game! I loved the atmosphere, the creepy vibes, and the generally untold mystery of whatever this place you're in really is. The game is quite short, my first time playing start to finish took less than an hour. I would have loved just a little bit more. Most of this time was spent walking around while in awe of some of the sights. There is some achievement hunting to be done, but if that's worth your time will be up to you. There is a monster that's out to get you but it doesn't really bother most of the time. It's slow, gives up quickly, and I wouldn't be surprised if some people play this game and never even encounter it. And that's just fine! Knowing you could encounter the monster adds enough of a layer of tension, actually running into it is secondary. I think the game could have even ditched the monster altogether and the game would have played out much the same. Anyway, it's a fun little game that I would recommend picking up with a discount. The base price is a bit steep for how short it is, but that's all relative.
small and short game pack with very good sound design, creepy creature, very good enviromental design,
Tentative positive due to a couple issues I encountered. Nice game but jank and a little frustrating. Appreciate just being given a jist of what you need to do and then left on your own to work everything out. I will always be a sucker for low poly graphics. The world felt vast despite realistically being pretty small. Apparently there is a story. I read notes and they all seemed loosely connected, vaguely hinting at the worlds lore but nothing that really interested me. The music was very nice, especially once you hit that open bridge/archway area. Performance was good, no issues. Load times seemed a little long. There are secrets to be found that I assume are meant to help build up the world. They are fairly tucked away. I have not found them all and will make an effort to in repeat playthroughs so long as I don't experience any more of the issues I've had to deal with. Felt a degree of tension in my first few moments which mostly evaporated when I began to realise how absolutely scuffed the pursuer AI is. I don't know if it works based on movement, sight, distance from player or sound. A couple times it would just corner me in the starting area, hanging around the entrance without actually coming in, meaning I had to take a forced death as soon as i left. Other times I made use of what were little gaps and edges that lead nowhere that I could walk on but the enemy couldn't so I figured line of sight was lost but instead it just hung around, trapping me again to take a forced death. That's not great. Coupled with the AI, i experienced two bugs in sequence that ended another run where I apparently interacted with door handles too quickly and thus the door didnt open, barring me from using a very nice shortcut late game. As I went backwards, I figured I'd take one final cursory glance around the area to make sure I hadn't missed anything only to end up clipping through a wall just by walking into it, going out of bounds and once again having to take a forced death. Come on, now.
Perfect atmosphere and vibes, completely ruined by a garbage horror game trope monster. You want to explore, take your time, and learn more about this world, but the monster AI and checkpoint systems are so laughably awful that you're pushed more to get the objectives done and sprint back to the elevator than to actually enjoy the experience. If there were a mod to delete the Amnesia Dark Descent monster this would be a FAR better game. Also the story is interesting but feels like a horror game version of a vagueposter on Twitter.
let it be a positive review... Pros: nice atmosphere and music Cons: Okay, you decided to add a pursuer. But you've also created a lot of narrow tunnels with turns. And your idiot boogeyman walks completely silently and one-shots you on corners. It isn't a gameplay, avoiding him is often impossible, it's just a random. Thank God the game is short and in my opinion this minus doesn’t bother me much. U will enjoy the game if u like megastructure setting and If u are lucky enough to not be caught five times in a row on the angles. Otherwise... U will die randomly again and again) For Devs: Please add a mode without the monster, and in the main mode, add footstep/grunt/breathing sounds. The monster can only be heard when up close...
Short but sweet game. Think I cheated the third part accidently though, I didn't use the gas canister and just found the objective? Really cool vibes, dope environment, and sweet soundtrack. Gameplay is quite simple and very exploration focused. Don't expect too much but solid overall.
