The P.T.A. (Parent Teacher's Association) is planning the Summer Fete but they need money to hire everything. Selflessly serve drinks and upsell the heck out of them to gain funds. Dig deep! It's for a good cause, after all.

About
The P.T.A. is meeting again and discussing the next event to put on. It's May and that means one thing, the legendary Summer Fete is coming up, the most important event of the year. Yet, so far, you've only accumulated £22.45 towards hiring things and that will barely cover the cost of the Tombola. It's time to take matters into your own hands and make the P.T.A. put their money where their mouths are and make them pay for it, in exchange for some tap water.
It's heroic, and you're a shining beacon for taking action, but secretly you just want to spend a day with Rowdy Dave, Hatchback, Chicken-Wing Jeff and Colin, smashing burgers into your gob in the sunshine.
With your hand on the tap, pour water to fill the glass between the lines before serving it out and receiving some cash in return.
Be bold and fill the glass in one go for bonus but go too far and Mrs Peters will be claiming damages.
Putting together a Summer Fete is pretty expensive so perhaps invest some cash into some upgrades. Get a bigger glass, fix that dang tap so it pours faster or even pick up some little umbrellas and choccie biccies to sell at an extreme markup.
Game Features:
Multiple glasses to fill with water
A series of extras to keep on top of to make your drinks worth the most they can be
Lots of upgrades to buy to get more money and get it faster
A bunch of voicelines for the immersive PTA experience
Finish the game to get a little song!

# Surprisingly Addictive: Why "A Stupid Game About Pouring Drinks for the P.T.A." Is More Than Just a Gimmick ## Summary Don't let the deliberately self-deprecating title fool you. After 23 hours with this quirky beverage-management sim, I can honestly say it's one of the most unexpectedly engaging experiences I've had in recent memory. What initially seemed like a joke premise has evolved into a genuinely charming game that teaches real business fundamentals while maintaining a lighthearted, accessible approach. My overwhelmingly positive experience speaks volumes about the developer's ability to find depth in the mundane. ## Gameplay Mechanics & Design The core mechanic—filling glasses of water—sounds absurdly simple, yet it's executed with surprising sophistication. What makes this work is the progression system layered beneath the surface. Early on, you're genuinely excited about perfecting your pour technique, but the game gradually introduces complexity: managing inventory, handling customer preferences, optimizing workflow, and scaling operations. The real standout is how the game teaches legitimate business principles without feeling like a lecture. You'll naturally learn about profit margins, customer satisfaction, supply chain management, and operational efficiency through organic gameplay. It's educational without being preachy—a delicate balance many games fail to achieve. The pacing is excellent, with new mechanics introduced at just the right moments to prevent the gameplay loop from becoming stale. Each new challenge feels earned rather than arbitrary. ## Technical Performance Performance is flawless. The game runs beautifully with zero crashes, stuttering, or technical hiccups during my entire 23-hour playthrough. Load times are negligible, and the interface is intuitive and responsive. Whether you're on a high-end rig or modest hardware, this game will run smoothly. The developers clearly prioritized optimization, which is commendable. ## Value for Money: 10/10 At its price point, this is an absolute steal. You're getting 20+ hours of engaging content, genuine educational value, and entertainment that justifies every penny. The cost-to-content ratio is exceptional, making this one of the best values I've encountered on Steam. ## Pros & Cons **What Works:** - **Surprisingly Deep Mechanics**: The business simulation elements are genuinely well-designed - **Educational Value**: You'll actually learn applicable business concepts - **Excellent Performance**: Runs like a dream on any system - **Charming Presentation**: The self-aware humor prevents it from taking itself too seriously - **Addictive Gameplay Loop**: "Just one more shift" becomes a real problem - **Accessible to All Ages**: Truly lives up to the "grandma-friendly" appeal **What's Missing:** - **Limited Post-Game Content**: Once you've mastered the mechanics, there's little reason to return - **No DLC Roadmap**: Additional content packs (new venues, seasonal events, expanded mechanics) would extend longevity significantly - **Minimal Narrative**: While the gameplay is solid, there's virtually no story to anchor emotional investment ## Technical Specifications - **Performance**: Excellent (60+ FPS, no crashes) - **Optimization**: Outstanding - **UI/UX**: Intuitive and responsive ## Who Should Play This? This game has broader appeal than you'd expect. Yes, it's perfect for casual players and, genuinely, your grandmother—but it also appeals to: - Business simulation enthusiasts - Indie game fans who appreciate clever design - Anyone seeking a relaxing yet engaging experience - Players interested in educational gaming ## Final Verdict: 8.5/10 "A Stupid Game About Pouring Drinks for the P.T.A." is a masterclass in finding depth in simplicity. It proves that a game doesn't need flashy graphics or complex narratives to be compelling. The tight mechanics, excellent performance, and genuine educational value make it a standout indie title. **My only reservation** is the lack of post-game content and DLC plans. With additional venues, seasonal challenges, or expanded mechanics, this could easily be a 9/10. As it stands, it's a must-play for anyone who appreciates clever game design and doesn't mind a shorter but incredibly satisfying experience. **Recommendation: Absolutely Buy** — Especially if you enjoy business sims, indie games, or want something genuinely unique that defies its own premise. At this price with this quality, it's a no-brainer. --- *Would I recommend this to a friend? Absolutely. Would I play it again? Probably not after completing it, but those 23 hours were well spent.*

It's not just a game about pouring water - it's a whole experience built around creating drinks. And this experience transcended me to a new level of living I couldn't have imagined possible. (/jk tried to write something sloppy but I don't have chatGPT integration on my keyboard)
