My brains been rotted, Ui could use some work and maybe a tutorial or something in the beginning. But once you get the hang of it it's pretty fun
It's somewhat fun to see a unique incremental game. However, I played it for 2 hours yesterday and my progress didn't save. I don't want to restart from the beginning
It's interesting and fun so far. Definitely worth the price. It's tagged with 'Idler', and you have a method of passive coin generation, but the game pauses and makes you click a Continue button if you go idle.
Happy Launch Day! Brainrotting is a super solid game! If you enjoyed games like Scritchy Scratchy that take the incremental genre and do something unique with it, I think you'll like Brainrotting. Instead of scratching lottery tickets, Brainrotting imitates the feeling of doom scrolling on a phone but with cool minigames that you gradually upgrade to become easier and more profitable. It has quickly become one of my favorite newer releases.
Minigames.
Unlock minigames, complete minigames, control minigames, upgrade minigames, repeat, automate minigames.

Game's theme is only noticable in text and 2 of the minigames, because gameplay-wise, its a pretty good incremental. Even music is quite nice, not what you'd expect xd. Progression is... interesting. Everything evolves while you're unlocking new games (first 2-3 hours), but after that there's a period of just grinding for upgrades, which was a bit tiring, but it still kept improving. And then after upgrading one of the minigames, it will become so trivial, that you disable every other minigame and let auto-solver handle it. Your income/sec improves by ~100 times near-instantly (eventually 100 times more). After reaching that point, every upgrade that can be maxed, will be maxed, and all that remained was just achievement hunting (which was mostly idle and boring), since there's no "ending" to the game. This HUGE profit spike essentially ends the casual playthrough, but for completionists it will be the only saving grace, because some of the achievements are just pure idle'ing and time settings manipulation. Some minigames are being completed slower than others, but their gains are the same across. And then there's daily/weeklies... just why? Sure, game itself tells you that you can edit your time settings to complete these, but what's the point in that idk, left a bitter taste during the end-game.

Gameplay and theme seem appropriate: mindless repetition that for some reason remains entertaining lmao (except for end-game). Definetely recommend to those who love scrolling endless feeds on social media, but not much to completionists, end-game is a chore (needed to pull out cheat engine for speedhack, im not a fan of just idling around). Price is good, ~4-5 hours to buy everything that can be maxed (coin gain/more screens are supposedly infinite), after that you do whatever, there's no ending in here, only achievements list.
Nice privacy settings, 420/10.
edit: seems to be saving now, dont know what happened was enjoying it but it said it was automatically saving my progress and I reopened the game and seem to have lost my progress, so idk
After 15 hours of grinding, nothing was saved at all. Thankfully, due to the developer's immediate action, acknowledgment of the issue, and work on fixing it unlike an impostor Chinese company trying to sneak in some idle/incremental games full of bugs made by AI where all reviews are paid or fake, this actually seems to be from an enthusiastic developer concerned about the problems people encounter in his game. The change satisfied me and made me okay with redoing the actual 6/7 hours spent in the game. With some unlocked knowledge from the previous save file that was lost, I managed to get back to where I was in less than 3 hours, so nothing much was lost. The game is amazing and satisfying to see numbers go up; it makes you dizzy and fuzzy. However, it may need some balance changes and stats to look into. Overall, it is a good game that I recommend to those who love looking at numbers fly.
