Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 31 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
A Storied Life: Tabitha is a cozy narrative game about memory, legacy, discovery, and joy inspired by elements of Unpacking, A Little to the Left, and classic word game Mad Libs.
An elderly loved one has died, leaving you their estate and a letter encouraging you to sell any valuables. But when a mishap spoils their soon-to-be-published memoirs, you set out to repair the damage, piecing together their hidden past using the items you inherit.
Explore a picturesque country house and pack away its contents, room by room. Move furniture, lift rugs, and open cupboards to uncover hidden and forgotten objects.
What separates cherished items from rubbish? Slowly sift through fragments of someone's past and decide whether to keep, auction, or discard each object.
You can't keep everything. Move and rotate items to fit them into boxes. Limited space and weight considerations mean you must let some things go.
Strengthen boxes with tape and vacuum pack soft goods to fit more in. Don't forget to bubble wrap fragile objects or they may break when unpacking.
Every item you save unlocks a set of associated words. Use these to mend the gaps in the damaged memoirs, completing the sentences to reveal a storied life.
You determine how the past is recorded. Uplifting, silly, shocking, funny, sombre... the memoirs have many potential branches, and every decision is yours.
Authentic Yorkshire setting: An intricately branching story rooted in North Yorkshire, UK
Soothing, painterly world: 17 delicately animated, hand-painted levels, enhanced by ambient weather and time of day effects
Multiple endings: The memoirs you write directly impact the final room's puzzles and how your benefactor is remembered
Item encyclopaedia: Your journal automatically logs all collected items and the words they unlock, and tracks the funds you raise at auction
Adaptive word puzzles: Forget to safely pack your items? Broken and pristine versions of the same object unlock unique words for the memoirs
Secrets and surprises: Uncover unexpected treats by replaying levels and experimenting

Indeed, quite a good game! It's nice and cozy, especially with the art style and literally ALL music in the game. It's good to play for a nice few evenings, especially in the rain, if you can. I'm not too much of a fan for those kinds of games, so this one's definitely standing out! The story itself is... Well, you make it yourself! I've really liked that part where you just make up your own grandma and she can vary from a loving housewife/wife/grandmother to a
witch/criminal
or even that one lady with a thousand of cats and more! It doesn't even matter if it changes the ending(it does!!), it just feels nice and even somewhat special to have an original experience overall. The main mechanic of just stacking things in the box is also interesting! Of course, most of the time, you know what goes in the trash by just looking at it, but when you DON'T know it... Then you get to choose between a big shiny clock and a beloved one's ashes... Which is also why I liked it!! I really would recommend to play it at least once, as it's not something grand, but just good and is really worth your attention.
I love this game!

Bardzo fajna gra o ukladaniu i wybieraniu przedmiotów. Polecam, jesli lubisz unboxing oraz lamiglowki.
:)
Super jeu avec un gameplay varié.
An interesting but unfortunately bogged down experience The overall premise is one you've seen before - clean up after your friend or relative's death, and discover their story through the things left behind. It's a fine game, but it's very slow to progress and the elements just aren't engaging enough to justify the time investment to get all stories and achievements. You basically start the story again with the same levels, layout, etc. and it does get tiring fast. I love the art style but the little daily challenges are cute but ultimately not necessary for the game type.
I do really like this game! it is sweet, and I really like the packing puzzles. HOWEVER - the daily puzzles? I have had four 'level 2' puzzles that are unsolvable. I don't know if it's because I've only done one playthough of the game so maybe some items aren't 'complete' (the unsolved tanagram for instance, I had that one today and I didn't solve it in my playthorugh) or anything else. Nothing was shrinkable in my level 2 daily puzzle today, and each time I have only been able to reinforce the box, I can't adjust anything to make them all fit. My partner has tried them as well and he can't figure them out either, and normally we're decent at puzzles. Please devs, review the daily puzzles.
! possible unspoilery spoilers ! The graphics are beautiful, and I start like that because I'm not actually sure what to say. I did enjoy the game, and the story captivated and fascinated me in more ways than once. The witchy aspect was a nice surprise for me, too, so I'm most excited to explore this storyline (since I only got the ending with the chaotic story that didn't get published so far...). What was also unexpected is the time, to be honest. Don't get me wrong, I didn't mind that finishing the entire game for the first time took me around 6 hours, but I've read it was much shorter. Frankly, I think the fact that it is longer is even better, since I wasn't limited to make decisions quicker than I wanted to by some (nonexistent in the actual game) clock with the time limit. Besides that, the puzzle aspect of the game isn't too difficult, but it's not too easy either. It was quite a challenge for me, especially if the objects I wanted to take were on the bigger side or had less even shape. The daily puzzles are also an interesting idea, nevertheless, I can't fully speak on it since I haven't got all the neccessary tokens for the price (I can't remember what it was...).
