A Slice of Lunch

Very cute game. The best thing about this game is the hand drawn feel. Solving each puzzle gives you time to appreciate the artwork, and the music is also really pleasant. Can't wait for more levels.

A very fun little game. I'm not usually the biggest fan of puzzle games, but this one feels very cozy and fun since it's not strict in its solutions. It feels very rewarding to slowly optimize placements until you get it just right. Definitely worth the price, especially as they add more levels!

Friday night, the work week is over. After working basically 280 hours unpaid I sit at my desk asking the age old question of what do I play. I check my library... the same old same old appears. "Lets check the steam store" I say and there it is, the game that changed my life "A Slice of Lunch." my heart races as a single tear sheds from my hopeless eye (left eye btw). The download is complete, I press play and at the same time my inner child has returned. My body knows its now true purpose. I arrange the foods, I cut the foods, I rotate the foods. Trial and error, over and over again until final "next level." Work is irrelevant, my mind yearns for the lunchbox, "It must fit" I whisper to myself as I rotate the squid and squish his cute little face. "good boy" I say as he lay perfect in his new home. The squid found his home and so did I. This isn't just a game... No. Its a work of art from the design to the music its... perfect. There's only one thing that could make this better a timed game mode I would be the first "A Slice of Lunch" speed runner and maybe finally my parents will love me... Until then I will arrange the foods, I will cut the foods and I will rotate the foods.
