Kickstarter & Backerkit backer (Full Game Access + Dragon & Unicorn mythicals) The fact that this game has been passed not once but twice is concerning. We don't have any of the promised Kickstarter rewards. The discord is about as dead as it gets in terms of updates. The game never met its promised "release date" and has been in Alpha / Beta far too long. An e-mail was supposed to go out to Switch backers could change their platform since the new Devs were focusing on PC.. it's been 6 months and still no e-mail. There's still people without early access keys as well. Stay away from this game. If it's on your wishlist, don't buy it until it's completed. I've spent less than an hour in this game because it was so frustrating to deal with everything going. I'm simply reviewing it now because I noticed it was "on sale" on steam and I don't want people to fall into a trap of purchasing something that isn't completed.
Unfortunately kickstarted this game. It's your classic farming sim, but development seems to have stopped leaving it an incomplete game. With so many other games in this genre out there, there's no reason to buy this.
I'm a Kickstarter backer, this game has come a long way with a lot of trials and tribulations. Love the company and it's support for how development has been continuing. <3
This game is sadly disappointing. The controls don't always work - I often had to double click for the game to respond. They need a review to see what is a better functionality for the keyboard (when playing on PC). The graphics (even on the highest setting) were disjointed and lagging. I hate the grid like editing. For a game that I have loved from the first Story of Season, I prefer to play the Nintendo games more than this one. This is just frustrating to play and not worth it. Needs a massive upgrade all round.
This game is so boring I'd rather watch paint dry.
stay away this game has been abandoned
This game is so relaxing! It has really cute animals and I love the pandas!
paid 8$ for dinkum. paid 8$ for new leaf. dinkum: 100+hours of engaging, versatile content. new leaf: 7 hours and i uninstalled. new leaf is a relaxing game. truly relaxing. and thats great. but its absolutely mindblowing to me, how ppl have been spending 150 + hours in this game. its lacking a lot in comparison to other farm games. also: bronze is an alloy!
This game is so not ready. It shouldn't even be an early access in my opinion. Besides it's been an early access for years now they really need to fix basically everything as you can see I've barely been able to play it because it just will not work. I would refund it had I known refunding things was possible when I purchased it a year or so ago. But I was relatively new to online games and I didn't really know you could do that yet you live and you learn I guess. If anything I'm happy that I got it at a sale price and didn't pay full price for this mess. The only reason I haven't just outright deleted it from my library as I'm hoping that maybe although it might be a snowball's chance in hell at this point that it gets to turn around. It could be great if they put the effort in.
