Bunch of small technical issues on Windows 11. The game randomly loses the ability to select actions from the look/use/etc wheel, and has made my mouse/touchpad unusable at least twice. Sometimes sound stops working and there are random russian (?) text in a couple of places. There are no patches or tools that I'm aware of to fix it. Now, the game itself isn't bad. If you save constantly, you can still get through just fine. Puzzles aren't too complex, but some interactables are small, so be ready to pixelhunt if you get stuck.

Cute old game, but not as good as Deponia in my view. Nice to see a female protagonist. Interesting story centered around climate change, and puzzles that make sense. Once in a while the language isn't English in the menus, but not really a problem.

Nice one! Had to use walkthrough a couple of times, but quests are mostly reasonable. 640x480 resolution is ♥♥♥♥ in 2026, but the game is still playable

A New Beginning hat mich an einem Sonntagnachmittag komplett vereinnahmt – ich konnte es nicht weglegen. Die Story rund um den Klimawandel klingt trocken, entpuppt sich aber als emotionales, packend erzähltes Abenteuer das sofort unter die Haut geht. Für ein Point-and-Click-Adventure erzählt es seine Geschichte mit einer Dringlichkeit und Wärme die man selten findet. Die niedrige Bewertung auf Steam ist völlig unverdient und schreckt potenzielle Spieler zu Unrecht ab. Wer gute Geschichten und atmosphärische Point-and-Click-Adventures liebt, sollte hier unbedingt zugreifen.
