Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

When the Steam backlog finally gets too mocking one has to start from the oldest entries. And needless to say even if I knew what to expect from the latter half of the game and had to go over the same scenes with sad violin playing on background they still hit like that Miyazaki gif about feels. But I heard no bell and obviously saved the best ones for last, B > J > E = La > M > Lo. And damn, the only adults in the school really are so spiteful that they either got too little or too much of the vaunted cane of discipline.

i played this way back in like 2017ish and i distinctly remember that i cried through most of it, it was like in the span of a single night much of which i just spent bawling. which probably has at least something to do with how i haven't actually read the original novel so i wasn't emotionally prepared for the twist. that said, after this reread, even though i didn't cry it still hits pretty hard, still very good all these years later, i just know i would have liked to be longer and more in depth for each scene and route but thats not a criticism its more that i enjoyed each route so much i just want more. also i remember really not liking lavinia and her route or at least kinda having mixed feelings but on reread i absolutely love lavinia, although jessie is still my fav because i'm unoriginal like that.
A very cute and sweet twist on the classic story A Little Princess! As someone familiar with the novel, I really enjoyed it. I loved the sapphic elements and how cutely and innocently they were done in a way that perfectly fit the story. I will say that once you've explored every character's storyline, there's really nothing else you can do in the game, so you'll reach a point fairly quickly where there's just no more to play. However, I still think it's worth it because this really is so wholesome and sweet, in contrast to a lot of other visual novels out there.
A Little Lily Princess, developed by Hanabira and published by Hanako Games, is a thoughtful and heartfelt visual novel that reinterprets the classic story of A Little Princess through interactive storytelling and gentle yuri romance. Drawing inspiration from Frances Hodgson Burnett’s original novel, the game places players in the role of Sara Crewe, a bright and imaginative young girl sent from India to attend a London boarding school. While the foundation of the story follows the familiar arc of privilege, loss, and resilience, this adaptation expands upon the emotional relationships within the setting, allowing players to shape Sara’s bonds with those around her in meaningful ways. The narrative begins with Sara arriving at the seminary as a wealthy and adored student, nicknamed a “little princess” because of her background and demeanor. Early chapters focus on establishing friendships, adjusting to the school’s routines, and navigating subtle rivalries among classmates. However, tragedy soon disrupts her comfortable life, and Sara’s social standing collapses overnight. Forced into servitude within the same institution where she was once admired, she must endure hardship while maintaining her compassion and dignity. This transition forms the emotional backbone of the story, exploring themes of perseverance, kindness, and inner strength. Unlike purely linear visual novels, A Little Lily Princess incorporates light stat-raising and scheduling mechanics that add an element of strategy to the experience. Each in-game week allows players to choose Sara’s activities, such as studying, working, or spending time with certain characters. These decisions influence her statistics and determine which events become available. This structure encourages careful planning and experimentation, as building certain attributes or prioritizing particular relationships unlocks new scenes and route developments. While the overarching plot remains recognizable, the individual character arcs can vary significantly depending on player choices. The romance routes are a central feature of the adaptation, offering six potential companions whose relationships with Sara can evolve beyond friendship. Each character brings a distinct perspective and emotional dynamic. Some routes highlight loyalty and long-standing camaraderie, while others delve into unlikely alliances formed through shared adversity. The romantic elements are handled with sensitivity and restraint, focusing on emotional connection rather than overt dramatics. The result is a series of heartfelt stories that emphasize trust, understanding, and mutual growth. The character writing stands out as one of the game’s strongest elements. Sara herself is portrayed as imaginative and empathetic, retaining her resilience even in the face of humiliation and hardship. The supporting cast is equally layered, with personalities that range from warm and supportive to insecure or antagonistic. Even characters who initially appear one-dimensional are given opportunities for growth and nuance, especially through the branching routes. This depth enriches repeat playthroughs, as players gain a fuller understanding of each character’s motivations and vulnerabilities. Visually, the game adopts a soft anime-inspired art style that complements its Victorian setting. Character sprites are expressive, and event illustrations add emphasis to pivotal emotional moments. Backgrounds capture the atmosphere of the boarding school and surrounding London streets, reinforcing the period tone without overwhelming the narrative focus. The soundtrack features gentle compositions that enhance the emotional beats of the story, creating a consistent and immersive mood. While the scheduling system adds replay value, it can occasionally feel unpredictable, as certain events depend on stat thresholds or random outcomes. This may require multiple attempts to unlock specific routes or endings. However, for many players, this element of uncertainty mirrors the unpredictability of life itself and enhances the sense of accomplishment when a desired outcome is achieved. The presence of multiple endings further encourages exploration, making each playthrough feel like a new perspective on the same foundational tale. Ultimately, A Little Lily Princess succeeds as both a respectful homage to its literary source and a fresh reinterpretation that centers on character agency and emotional intimacy. It transforms a familiar story of hardship into a branching narrative rich with friendship and romance, allowing players to shape Sara’s journey toward happiness. For fans of character-driven visual novels, historical settings, and gentle yuri romance, it offers a layered and emotionally resonant experience that balances classic storytelling with interactive depth. This game is lovely. I enjoyed every minute, it's now one of my favorite visual novels ♥
Well this was absolutely lovely. All of the girls were lovely and their routes were all very interesting, my only real complaint is that I wish there was more development for each girl. I'm very impressed they managed to make Lavinia likeable in her ending, in fact it was probably my favourite. The relationship between Sara and each girl is varyingly romantic or more ~close feelings~ and I actually found that quite nice, The variety was rather pleasant and fit the broader yuri exploration of "feelings between girls" rather than 100% romance. There's some rather orientalist elements that no doubt are a holdover from the book but I felt they weren't particularly egregious and they were "period appropriate" so to speak without being terribly unpleasant. All-in-all this was a really delightful experience and definitely one that I was sad to have to put down once it was over.
A very cute, quick play! The luck factor of gathering resources can be a little frustrating (especially if you're trying to gather for characters like Lottie or Lavinia who require a large amount or a large variety of resources) but overall it's simply enough to get what you need to progress (and impossible to lock yourself out a Becky's route at least). Overall a very fun take on the story... even if some of the costuming (such as Sara's party dress) takes you out of the world for a moment.
