Totally overhyped and overrated game. Gameplay is mid, OST is good. Chapters 1 and 4 are quite lacking in different ways, while chapter 3 is okay. Chapter 2 is great though. Story is okay, and though it still has some good, the ending is cringe. I could recommend at least 50 better 3d platformers. Mid Game 5/10.

A true hidden gem. i love everything about this game, the story, the characters, i mean everything. the soundtrack is so good, it fits what's going on so well. this game has a few silly moments here and there, and that just makes it better. and when you beat the game? there's replayability a it's peak, with mods and dlc's. truly impressive for a game released in 2017. when you download mods while your game is still open, it does it in real time, so you don't need to restart the game or leave a level to make it work. overhaul: 10\10. one of my most favorite games.

We got Mario galaxy at home
I'm nearly 10 years late to be reviewing this, but I guess it's better late than never. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Keeping it real here, this is most definitely one of the best platformers ever made. To simply call it an "indie" would be to VASTLY underestimate it's quality as a game, because it honestly surpasses even big names like Super Mario with how much it has going on. The Wind Waker-esque art style is delightfully charming, and the bizarrely high quality animation work honestly makes the game look a lot like a Disney movie. And all of this goes alongside an energetic OST that is incredibly well made and consistently hype (Massive credit to Pascal Michael Stiefel, he's incredible!) ...Oh, and the workshop implementation is REALLY cool as well! As if the game couldn't get any better, they even allow custom content to be made and easily played! It's almost unbelievable how good this game is!
