A Handful of Keflings

Ich spiele ja wirklich gerne Sandbox games oder Building games. Aber erstens spricht mich der Style nicht so an, obwohl die Grafiken an sich perfekt sind - eben, wenn man den Style mag. Und zweitens baut man hier tatsächlich nur Rohstoffe ab, um Gebäude zu bauen, mit denen man noch mehr Rohstoffe abbauen bzw diese weiterverarbeiten kann.. und zwar eigentlich hauptsächlich wieder, um sie horten zu können. Wäre schön, wenn wenistens wo neue Keflings rauskommen würden, die anders sind. Zb ne Hexe, wenn man schon ein Hexenhaus bauen kann, oder ein Zauberer aus dem Turm... Im Baumenü kommt man relativ schnell voran, das Spiel wird dadurch aber weder irgendwie spannender noch sonstwie anders. Die Keflings-Welt ist hauptsächlich ein schmaler Streifen, den man hin und her schieben kann. Überall liegt Junk rum, dessen Sinn ich noch nicht ganz erfasst habe.. habs ja nur eine halbe Stunde gespielt. (und vorherige Kefling-Games nicht gespielt, kenne nur diese VR Version) Also wie gesagt, ich bin echt geduldig und spiele sehr gerne auch Spiele ohne viel Action, aber bei Keflings ist mir relativ schnell langweilig geworden, bzw kommt man sich schnell sinnlos vor. Da spiele ich lieber Deisim. Deutlich günstiger, weniger "ausgefeilte" Grafik, aber ich finde den minimalistischen Style von Deisim deutlich ansprechender. Außerdem hat man bei Deisim immerhin die Möglichkeit, die Landschaft zu gestalten und sich frei zu bewegen. Fazit: Ich kann Keflings nicht empfehlen. Vielleicht für jemanden, der sich wirklich nur ablenken und den Gebäude-Baum durchklicken will. Für jegliche Ansprüche viel zu eintönig und dafür mit knapp 20 Euro eindeutig zu teuer. Wobei ich es auch für 10 Euro nicht empfehlen würde.

11 hours to complete this game as a newbie. pathetic! not even credits at the end. the console vertions ar better they should stick with that but bring them to pc.

I LOVE this game. I grew up playing the original Keflings on Xbox360 and ended up playing in on the Wii U as well. I have beat the original game and all the DLC's multiple times. This VR Keflings is wonderful little recreation. It is not as full as the Xbox360 game was, but given its an older VR game its holds up amazingly. I am only 4 hours into the game and I was surprised the game has more than I thought. Its a click and drag VR game so you don't get dizzy, and you can also hold on the map where you want to go. The map is a HUGE horizontal plane, bigger than I expected but I'm very happy with it. I love little upgrades from the original game, such as not having to have to TELL Keflings bring wood to areas, they do a lot automatically now. I hate that this game has mostly negative, as a huge fan of the game growing up it deserves so much more love. Fantastic relaxing game, I love Keflings so much <3 Hope the creators bring the old game to Steam!

Not Bad, don't come in with expectations that this is a sequel to A World of Keflings, because it isn't. Controls are fine in my opinion. I like the teleporting feature at the top, could give you options to build different towns across the map. But yeah, its a VR Keflings game, don't really understand the mostly negative reviews. ONE BIG THING HOWEVER: Steam Link through a Quest DOES NOT WORK with this game, at least for me. The game crashes once you start it up with steam link, Will edit review if it does get patched.

9/10 Great game and plays almost like the older ones but in VR. Totally recommend it if you like relaxing games. Plays great with only some minor controller issues when the house is super close to you but besides that its great. Wish it was properly released in Australia as it is region locked for some reason. Might be the only Australian to own this game on steam legally. Hopefully I get to see the older 2 games make a return especially for them to be sold on steam specifically cause this series is amazing.
