Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I LOVED this game. I knew going in that I was going to have a pretty good time, but once shovel hit dirt, I was instantly 100% invested in getting *all* of that dirt out of that hole... and it was worth every second. So zen, so chill. I was able to sit back and just dig, dig, and dig some more. It's what some people would call "oddly satisfying", but to be real, it's just plain old satisfying. I was so into it that once I dug it all out and finished the game, I did it all again immediately, and I am quite sure that I will be doing it all once again in the future. There is only one caveat to all of the above:
You may have noticed the horror tag. The end section of the game takes a spoopy turn, and goes from a game about digging to a game about hiding and running for your life. Frankly, it is a little bit jarring in contrast to the rest of the game, but it is a pretty short part of the game, so don't let that throw you off... this is a great game, just be warned that it is not *all* zen digging the entire time.
If you are looking for a fun game that you can just zone out with and chill, this is one of those games. Highly recommended.
A Game About Digging A Hole proves that an incredibly simple idea can be surprisingly fun. You start with a single goal to dig, but every upgrade and every new discovery makes the experience more addictive. The constant sense of progression makes it difficult to put the game down. Despite its minimalist approach, the game keeps players engaged with a satisfying pace, meaningful upgrades, and the curiosity of discovering what lies deeper underground. It is a perfect example of how simple gameplay can be both relaxing and incredibly rewarding.
you dig hole
It could have been a tolerable, mindless time-killer, but the game lacks more interesting things to discover. And the ending… Well, it disappointed me, at least, and honestly, it would have been better if it hadn’t been there at all—or, alternatively, if the final location had served as a gateway to another layer to explore.
Short but cheap , story light and simple satisfying gameplay. Sometimes you just want a game where you can kill a couple hours watching TV, listening to an audio book, or travelling. This scratched that itch for me. The fast food of video games, but honestly much cheaper than McDonalds these days.
