A Game About Chopping Trees

I bought it in a bundle for Leaf It Alone which my son told me about and I instead played this and actually really enjoyed it. I admit I do love a chilled game where the gameplay is pretty simple, it fits in the hole of Powerwash Simulator and of course A Game About Digging a Hole. I'm glad though that I can't give it a score as the game could do with some more to give it higher marks. It feels more like a preview than a fully released game, though the developers are still updating wee parts of the game. Firstly the game looks beautiful I really enjoy the art stuff and apart from the last stage, I just loved looking around. Just a cool calming vibe. The gameplay is simple, chop trees down, take back to sawmill, earn money and get upgrades, repeat. It's a simple yet it works. Though I do wish depending how you cut the tree down, would give you a better or worse odds in how much logs they produce. I can cut them low or high and it didn't matter. The train you get is alright but by the time I get to fully use it, the game is near enough finished. Not sure if I like the placement of the track, but thats me nitpicking. Do I wish for more in the game, of course. Bigger levels, more interactive areas like the wee shed the train goes through, its nice but you can't do anything with it. I would loved tidy up the area, finding planks of wood and old equipment, why can't I just stick it on the train and recycle it? The beehives, whats the deal with them? Repair but do nothing. No passive income.. Either way I still enjoyed my nights with it and I'll wait and see what gets added if anything will.

Sieht zwar gut aus aber wirkt wenig innovativ. Man macht quasi dauerhaft das Gleiche. Hier und da mal was zu reparieren und das war's. Wird schnell langweilig.
