This is a wonderful game! It looks very cute and has great gameplay! And so far, it seems really well designed, despite only being in early access as of me writing this review. I'm very exited for what the future will hold for this game.
Very enjoyable little roguelike - a bit like vampire survivors with planes and weapons, but it does feel unique and rewarding when you pull off a clever maneuver to avoid incoming enemy planes, or when you successfully get a very upgraded plane. In the current early access version it has 20 minutes where you need to survive (with about 4 bosses, one every 5 minutes I believe) - the three different areas are purely visual from what I could tell. However, you often will lose your run a lot earlier than the 20 minute mark - getting there is a challenge. The game is also lets you choose between multiple (currently 4) planes and 6 navigators with different pros and cons, which injects some great variety and replayability into it. There is some element of luck with getting good builds and upgrades, which can and will affect your runs a lot - for example SMG builds desperately need damage early on to do well (though the dev is working on it). There are also some upgrades that are always good (enemies exploding on death) and some that are less prioritized, but navigating building your plane while trying to survive is fun too. Overall, I enjoyed this game a bunch for this price and I'm looking forward to future development updates (:

Horrible controls no mater if your playing m/k or controller.
Good game. Small scale, there's few upgrades and you'll probably see most of them after like an hour of gameplay. What really gives it depth is when you get planes that have multiple weapons and you combine them in different ways. Plane controls are totally fine, just keep in mind that it's gonna bee a lil sluggish. No problem once you get used to it. I unlocked everything before I actually managed to beat a run, so as long as you're not terrible you can have the starting loadout of your dreams in no time at all, though I'd recommend sticking to guns with precision to start out with. Poison rocks.
Good foundation but needs improvements. The way this game renders it gets very blurry when you're flying around fast and theres lots of movement, which is kinda the whole point of this game. I've stopped playing now after half an hour because I just have a headache. The visual quality MUST be improved, the blurring it was too much. The pixelated art style is fine, I'm not a big fan of pixel art style that much. But in that light, this is TOO pixelated. The resolution of the assets needs bumped up just a little. But the judgement here is muddled with the lack of clarity introduced by the over the top blurring. This is a really fun game, and with just a bit of improvement of the visual clarity, its a great time killer.
HOLY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ THE CONTROLS ARE SO BAD
it is a very good game hard at the start but then you will get better anbd it will be fun
I've played a lot of VS clones, don't get me wrong it's not a super bad game. But I can't get over the movement. I tried both types they offer, and just cannot get into it it's way too slow and you're constantly just turning on a horde. Unfortunately the way the movement is has ruined the fun of the game for me which sucks because the trailer looks extremely fun!
A really simple and fun game but: - Double hits are a thing, so you might suddenly die - You can't see what each character does and it buys it immediately - You will eventually find out despite primary weapons are the main focus of the game, what really carries your ass are the secondary weapons - Planes duplicating while on screen (?) - Borders of the map = certain death, you have no map as well, so you are actually oblivious of where you are - Random freezes (I don't play on a toaster btw) - Random control inputs (?).I don't know if this has to do with the freezes, but sometimes it just turns far more than what you told him to. Overall it's a good game, even though, quite short, I already have everything.
