This game Is ONLY ONLY JUMPSCARY DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!!! Im not be scared! If you play that game you are a crazy!
this game is complete ♥♥♥♥. im usually a sucker for the "snoop on someones desktop" type games, but this was just really poorly written and drawn. some of the jumpscares are literal stick figures that i think were made in a notes app. also some of the text is written with AI. do with that what you will. overall, not even worth the two fiddy i paid for it, go get a drink at mcdonalds or something instead.
98xx seems good, but not on the further edge. The game has a good concept, an Operating System that has remains of files which seem to help you uncover mysteries, but when I directly compared this to KinitoPET, the game barely can be equal to it. Troy did what was told in the front page of the game, to build up tension and suspense by bringing your enviroment into the game. While 98xx is told to be the exact same, this, however, is a false statement. The game only interacts with what was built inside of it, and the puzzles and mysteries are hid behind specific websites, THIS is when the game tries its best to bring in your environment, but it doesn't happen completely, since it only starts to force you to open up your browser and uncover mysteries through the game's websites. Overall, the game is great in my opinion, it just lacks some areas of true horror, as the game only brings up a image-inserted jumpscare in most of 98xx's programs. The game just tells you to scan QR codes, type in links, and solve puzzles right after a jumpscare, which is both stressing and can be triggering to some because of the unexpected jumpscares. I would play this as a second-hand if I don't feel like I need to play KinitoPET, however, I don't recommend this game to anyone who wants to spend their money on real quality-like games, unlike me who just gets games I watched on media. Great game! It just needs a little bit of more "suspense" and tension-buliding.
