About
"8AM: The Swimming Pool" plunges the player into a tense and enigmatic experience of observation and judgment, set beneath the dim lights of an empty public pool. The night has fallen, and the facility is about to close. Only a few late swimmers remain — tired, silent, and seemingly ordinary.
You are stationed in the control room, surrounded by flickering monitors, hearing the distant echo of water and the hum of fluorescent lights. You don’t know why you are there, nor who asked you to watch. Your only task: observe. Yet, as the clock approaches midnight, the calm surface of the pool begins to conceal something far less tranquil.
From that moment, the surveillance feed begins to reveal strange anomalies — shadows moving where no one should be, reflections that don’t match their owners, and swimmers whose gestures grow more erratic as the hours pass. Are they just exhausted? Or is something beneath the water pulling them closer to madness?
Your mission is deceptively simple: decide what is real. Each scene, each fragment of footage, forces you to question whether you’re witnessing coincidence, paranoia, or something that defies explanation. You cannot intervene — only judge. The truth remains submerged, and your perception is your only instrument.
Every decision brings you closer to dawn — and to understanding your role in this silent vigil. But as 8:00 a.m. approaches, you begin to wonder: are you observing the swimmers… or are they, somehow, observing you?
"8AM: The Swimming Pool" is a psychological mystery about isolation, perception, and the thin boundary between reason and fear. Through the still water and the sleepless night, it invites you to confront not only what lies beneath the surface, but also the unease of seeing — and being seen.

Reviews
Get ready for more fun, eerie, and outrageous nights in 8AM The Swimming Pool. Another great game by 8AM. It is always fun to try and discover the many anomalies that rear their heads during your playthrough.
Muy buen juego , la atmosfera que tiene te deja que pensar y te mantiene atento a todo La jugabilidad es bastante buena y cuidado con los sustos
A fun and creepy anomaly game with 100 unique anomalies to discover. The eerie pool setting keeps you constantly scanning every camera, wondering what changed. The atmosphere is excellent, the toggleable jumpscares are a great feature, and the changing pool environment makes each night engaging. A solid experience for anomaly horror fans. really good it'd be good if it had more rooms on only one game
Do I FULLY recommend? No, but it does have jump scares that did its job. The whole concept of the game has great potential, but like another review had mentioned, it seems like a lazy development. This could be elevated if the anomalies were actively moving on camera, actual jump scares on the cameras, or anything along those lines. Screening through the cams many times just to see things frozen in time was a little underwhelming. The desk jump scares is where the most heart pumps come from. I recommend for the potential, and the jump scares at the desk (that you must turn on). Once I finished I was left feeling like there is no need to play again.
A nice little anomaly game. Of the 8am games, this is the one i struggled with the longest I think.
wow hororr in dead and many times again
In this swimming pool, there are not only more people than when the place is supposedly open, but there is also a guy locked in the bathroom apparently entertaining himself from midnight to 8 AM. At that point, this is less of a paranormal anomaly and more of a medical emergency waiting to happen. The rest has the same problems as the previous chapters. The jumpscares have absolutely nothing to do with the map’s setting or with the events happening inside it. The differences are not scary, not unsettling, and quite often ridiculously hard to notice, usually boiling down to tiny, meaningless changes hidden almost out of spite. Overall, it is a pretty disappointing experience. It is not scary, it is not intriguing, and there does not seem to be any real story or lore behind it. Just a monitor, a few cameras, and you reporting whether one of the people present has moved from one point of the map to another, as if you were doing the night shift in a public swimming pool haunted by boredom.
while i love liminal space games so much and i think this has some potential to be really good (i want to and i want to think there could be really good things that might be improved in this.) i feel like this one, while offering a lot of anomalies to be spotted, still feel "lacking" in uniqueness department and feels like a cashgrab for the genre that is already becoming really old. it doesn't offer anything new to the genre aside to the "jump scare" which feels so cheap and lazy and i feel like the genre wont even change if this game didn't even exist or was removed. it might be a harsh commentary but i need to state it. it might offer a lot of anomalies that can be spotted, i feel like this game has "too much of it" and it failed to realize or apply what makes its predecessor (exit 8, observation duty etc.) feels so refreshing and exciting. i feel like what devs can do to this game is to add something that makes the game feel exciting. or interesting or make it feel different and unique compared to not only to the entire anomaly hunt subgenre, but also to the 8AM series itself cause looking at this and to the other 8AM ones, it kinda feels like they are copy pasted game with just different environment. all this game need is a really unique mechanic to make it better and exciting. but otherwise, as long as the game stay like this, i wont recommend this game to anyone, not even to people who like liminal spaces and anomaly hunt games.
Porażka... O ile podstawowa 8AM miała genialny klimat i sens to tutaj brak jednego i drugiego... Monitoring nocą na ciemnym basenie, ale z pracownikami/ klientami? Totalny bezsens i klimat hoojowizny..
