Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
5 Minutes Until Self-Destruction is an escape room-style puzzle game where you're trapped on a spaceship moments from destruction. Think fast - or get blown to pieces.
The ship is filled with interconnected puzzles and minigames that test your logic, observation, and quick thinking.
Features:
- The entire game unfolds over a strict 5-minute timer
- Solve interconnected environmental puzzles to unlock new areas and ultimately defuse the self-destruction mechanism
- From the very start, the final goal is in plain sight
- Fast loading and restart times
- Completion timer for speed-runners
Can you outsmart the countdown before time runs out?
DISCLAIMER
It’s a short game by design, and the time-to-complete varies depending on how quickly you can think and act. Finishing on your first try in under five minutes is possible, but very difficult.

Pretty fun little puzzle game. Good stuff
🔹 EXPECTATIONS: a full-fledged escape room game. 🔹 REALITY: a prototype of a game. 🔶 5 minutes until self-destruction (5MUSD) takes us to a space station that's going to explode in 5 minutes, unless we stop the sequence. That's all the setting, no backstory, no characters introductions, no reasons why it's going to explode or why we need to stop it, instead of escaping. If we fail to stop the sequence within that time, the station explodes and we'll need to restart from the beginning, but even if we stop it from exploding, we still need to escape (¿?). 🔸 To achieve this goal, we'll need to roam around the station to soon realise the locked doors are controlled by a panel (a puzzle) somewhere else, solving the puzzle unlocks a door that grants access to another puzzle, and so on for a handful of times. Not the most exciting structure, but the worst is the simplicity of the puzzles, if they can even be called that. There are 7 in total and some have their solution randomized, which doesn't make them more exciting but tedious, once we fail near the end and have to repeat them from the start. 🔸 The layout of the station, which is mostly empty, doesn't make much sense either, in the shape of a hand, with a central area that connects the 4-5 corridors that lead to the panels. 🔸 5MUSD reminds me of 'Access denied' and how it evolved and improved in 'Access denied: escape'. As a concept of something more developed, complex and interesting, it's ok-ish, but as a full finished paid game falls short in almost every aspect, and I can't recommend it. POSITIVES: 🙂+ 😄+ 😍+ NEGATIVES: 🙁- 😠- 😡- uninteresting puzzles

good game
5 mins until you blow up. For the price its alright. Great little puzzles sprinkled here and there. Short Game-play https://youtu.be/SP_WjIoQBVw
its too stressful for me. i kinda thought id get more time put on when i solve puzzles..but noo.
If that elevater wasn't loud asf, then this game would've been PERFECT.
Cute idea, but 5 minutes was apparently not enough time for my brain to become useful. Some puzzles were fun, but others felt more tedious than clever, especially after a few failed attempts. Once I knew certain sections were coming, I was not excited to solve them. I never actually managed to escape, so either the game won or I discovered exactly how useless I would be in an emergency. Neat short game if you enjoy timed puzzle challenges, but definitely not for people who start panicking the moment a timer appears (I'm people).
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome
Short, cheap, and surprisingly tense. The timer keeps you on edge the whole way through, and every run feels intense. It would be cool if it had achievements.
