Simple and lovely.
I bought 24 killers on a whim after hearing about it through the grapevine, and I'm incredibly glad I did. I had a blast with the game. The game is very dreamy and I haven't quite played anything like it for a long time, so it was nice to scratch the itch of a adventure/life sim-ish game again. Puzzles and exploration are fun, and its a great time meeting and getting to know all the mons. Definitely an underrated gem. If you have the time and money, give the game a swing.
very cool. play and enjoy.
One of those games that reminds me why I fell in love with the medium in the first place.
The old school PS1 graphics paired up with a chill exploration gameplay loop, with the added bizarre characters that look like a cross between Earthworm Jim and Animal Crossing... this game is hard to define! The game also gets surprisingly deep with some of the themes and characters which I really enjoyed. I've never played the Moon games people reference when talking about 24 Killers, but I enjoyed it regardless. I will say I got stumped on a few puzzles halfway through and almost gave up, but I'm really glad I didn't - the content, gameplay, and story is really strong in the second half.
GREAT
Unbelievably charming game. I started this up and finished my first playthrough in just a week and that rarely happens. Definitely a game that rewards multiple plays and I appreciate the methods to make subsequent playthroughs faster/easier
especially with that bait and switch of there actually being 24 save files and not just 4, which genuinely got a belly laugh out of me at the absurdity of it.
I really hope this makes it to consoles one day so it can have a wider audience as this is easily one of my favorite things I've played in a while. Especially after a stressful day at work this is such a relaxing experience with so much love put into it, with writing that really made me laugh on a regular basis. It doesn't overstay its welcome either, initially grinding for whispers seems like it will take forever but by the end with the Shout Outs you get it doesn't take long at all.
