Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

cool
I have fond memories of playing this game many years ago, when the laptop I used wasn't even strong enough to run it properly, and rendered every vehicle as a simple, grey box. We were always confused why there were some boxes just sitting on the side of the road, until one day we decided to run into one and quickly figured out that those were cop cars. Unfortunately, despite having much better hardware to run this game on nowadays, it turns out that this game just isn't very good, and even my nostalgia couldn't save it. The gameplay is really simplistic. You just drive your semi-truck around the United States and Canada, picking up trailers and delivering them to other locations. This really isn't very exciting, especially given most roads are just long, straight, empty stretches of road with little traffic. The game doesn't give you much of a reason for doing so either, other than "make money", and there's almost nothing to use this money for, other than buying upgrades (which are very useful, but take a very long time to unlock) and paying for things like gas, repairs, or fines. All of these are so cheap that I never came close to running out of money, so it felt like I had no reason to continue making deliveries for most of the game. There's lots of other issues with this game as well. There's a feature for tracking when you're in a "convoy", but there seems to be no reason to ever do so, using hotels seems to be completely pointless, many roads are completely missing signage and there's lots of uncontrolled intersections, there's invisible walls hidden all over the place, the game doesn't care if you don't use signals, don't stay in your lane, or if you run red lights, every truck drives exactly the same, the cargo you deliver has no affect on what you get paid, and the camera is atrocious and often prevents you from seeing what is front of you. However, the worst part of this game is that is completely prevents you from saving while you have a run in progress, and the longest runs can take upwards of two hours to complete. This means you often can't even stop playing when you want to unless you want to lose literal hours of progress. The only thing that slightly saves this game is the various missions that you can unlock and add some variety to the gameplay, like ones where you drive a bus, sports car, or fire truck, but these are too few and far between and take too long to unlock to save this game. The visuals of the game also make it painfully clear how old the game is, and the textures and models are painfully simplistic. Thankfully this means there's no performance issues running this game, but there's still dozens of other bugs. Distorted textures, other vehicles randomly despawning, crashing, or clipping through the ground, my truck getting stuck or clipping through the ground, roads missing from the mini-map, parts of the world map being impossible to see, cars or other objects spawning inside walls or in the middle of roads, cars randomly stopping, and certain missions completely breaking or not ending when they were supposed to were all issues I encountered while playing this game. TL;DR This old game is one I once enjoyed many years ago when my laptop wasn't even powerful enough to run it properly. Unfortunately, it has not aged well, with boring gameplay, the inability to save during runs, many useless or unfinished features, very outdated visuals, and many bugs. Even if you enjoy these kinds of games, you'd be much better off with a more modern offering, as this game is not good.
An excellent idea regarding the new gameplay in the form of various missions that we need to complete, everything else is a half-finished product. I wouldn't even say a half-finished product, but as if someone took the game out of the early development phase and decided to publish it. Waste of time and money.
dönemine göre iyi fizik motoru, göz yormayan ve rekabetçi grafikleri olan, özel görevleri sayesinde baymadan saatlerce oynayabileceğiniz bence 18 wos serisinin en iyi oyunu
Memories... childhood memories, Thank you SCS Software for this amazing game.
This is a fantastic and realistic trucking game. My family and I owned this game, 18 Wheels of Steel: Convoy on disc for PC. Now we purchased it on Steam, it is just as we remember! Awesome!
