A number of other reviews have said what mostly needs to be said so I figure ill just add my own small piece. I couldn't help but be amused by the dorky characters and the equally as dorky plot, hell the whole concept is silly from (100ft) head to toe. You can tell the devs enjoyed themselves making this game and I think by extension that made me enjoy it more too. Glad I stumbled upon this game I had fun.
Pretty fun time waster, you get to smash buildings and fly around as a robot. Dialogue is charming enough too.

I like it; it's a charming concept, and the aesthetic is dead on my taste, but there is missed potential here. To start, the voice acting could be a little better. It is supposed to be bad, but a good voice actor can do a lousy voice well. But the actors they have here are dull-sounding. Another issue is with the dialogue. It really needs to be funnier. The McElroy brothers' stuff is cute, but the rest of the dialog sounds like a first draft in a comedy show. It's maybe flirting with getting a chuckle out of me, but it falls flat at the punchline and sometimes delivery. Finally, the gameplay either needed to be more arcade fighter-like or golf-technical. Right now, it's just shallow, and it's not always clear how strong a shot will be or how far it will go when the interface keeps changing for each bot.

I have no idea what happened here but this incredible idea for a game is just a miss. It's mostly a comedy game but absolutely none of the jokes land. The McElroy brothers aren't utilized well and their one-liners feel completely disconnected from the rest of the game if you can hear them at all with the bad sound mixing. The cutscenes are also just awful with some of the worst voice acting I've heard in a while that also doesn't match the aesthetic they're going for. It's not funny and it's not fun to play and it just bums me out because this should have been a slam dunk.
This is probably more of a "fun with friends" game, but having the campaign mode be a race against the AI instead of solo was a mistake.
