100 Pumpkins

fun little game that takes around 30 min to beat and took me 4 hours to beat without dying if you buy this game i recommend buying the bundel with the sequal since i heard 2 is a huge improvement (haven't played it yet)

Open world platformer (Minivania) Steam Deck: Playable 100 Pumpkins is a retro styled game that feels like something that could have existed on the ColecoVision back in the day, with a bit better control. It is a cute, compact experience. But that isn't a bad thing here, as it reduces (but unfortunately doesn't eliminate) repetition. Overall a fun time.

Short lil game with some fun tricks

64 minutes to complete the first time (with a LOT of player deaths) but it was a lot of fun! Charismatic Atari-like graphics, neat puzzles and just enough challenge to test your skills. A wonderful mini-game!

Ahhh I loved it. It’s just simple fun Metroidvania exploration. With puzzly Metroidvanias, I always worry it will get too heady and complicated. But here - never too frustrating, always a fun level of challenge. The room titles are a great touch, with funny hints and some meta humor. Overall, super recommended.

I stumbled across this game by accident, typing the wrong thing into the search bar on Steam. But when I saw it I had to check it out. I'm pleasantly surprised. It's a simple exploration platformer. You basically collect 100 pumpkins. Some are puzzles. The area description sometimes offers hints. It's never too hard or too easy. If you really liked You Have to Win the Game, you'll love this. It's basically that game but with Atari graphics, some light combat, and no cryptic end game stuff. The map here is also a lot more useful than I originally thought and made finishing this game a lot more fun. It's simple. It's light. It's fun. My only complaint is its a fairly short game but it also doesn't overstay its welcome. I definitely see myself replaying this in the future. Just don't expect much of a metroidvania. There's not really power ups or progression locked to abilities. It's more about just exploring and finding.

보통 도전과제 다 깨고 리뷰 남기는 편인데, 노데쓰 도전과제를 언제 깰지 몰라서 일단 첫 엔딩 보고 작성하는 리뷰 초회차 35분 걸릴 정도로 분량은 짧음 게임 제목대로 100개의 호박을 찾는 게임인데, 한 화면당 1개의 호박이 무조건 있다. 퍼즐 요소보다는 정교한 컨트롤을 요구한다. 문제는 키보드로 할 경우 기본 키 배치가 wasd로 이동하고 스페이스바로 점프, ctrl키로 공격이라는 미친 구성에 키 설정도 없다.
