Qualified recommendation. The juice in this game is great. The art is cohesive. But the goal scaling makes using non-mythical animals impractical, which flattens a lot of deck identity.
This is a very nice number-go-high puzzler with cute visuals, even cuter sounds, AND even cuter effects! It is satisfying, yet it is not unapologetically addictive like many other games strive to be - you get enough satisfaction from even lost runs that you can put the game down, but you still wanna come back to it - but later. Which makes it a perfect mix of a dopamine factory with a brain-massaging puzzle and unlock-fest than absolute most of such a genre. Hands down the best surprise of a long while. A MUST BUY if you like the genre.

Fun game, lots of different strategies
The game is really fun - but at the moment, it is absolutely riddled with bugs. Animals seem to get duplicated into your hand in some circumstances, but just block up a slot and can't be played (I think this is tied to the Suckerfish card, and maybe one of the event days?) If the bugs can be sorted out, this will be a great daily play for me, but I've had too many runs scrambled by bugs and it's starting to make the experience frustrating.
animal go zoom
This game is filled with way too many bugs and glitches to enjoy playing. Multiple times a card mechanic has glitched causing me to forfeit a run after 20-30 minutes. This is especially frustrating when trying to play the daily challenge which doesn't allow for a second chance. Until they fix these issues, I would not suggest investing any time playing.
Fun little puzzle game. Has the bonus of sometimes going off with exponential numbers which is always cool. Number go brrrr is a real thing so why not :)
Actually peak game with some very glaring areas for improvement - Character balance is all over the place, with some characters having a comical gap in scaling capabilities that cannot keep up in director difficulty. I've found Sally to be comically overpowered due to the value of buying out souvenirs early game, while the starting 3 type characters have to pray to god that week 1 had good RNG to get anywhere. - Lack of deck manipulation makes the game far too RNG dependent. This is where something like Balatro feels a lot better to play at gold stake vs director. I also wish the transform/remove animals could be targetable instead of forcing the leftmost card every time - especially when desired target card may not have a way to be manipulated to the left. - Animal balance also struggles, with certain picks just winning the game on their own vs. conditional scaling animals that need a player to go all in on souvenirs making the build work. This loops back to the lack of deck manipulation and rng reliance again. The game itself is an easy 10/10 for me outside of director difficulty, but I think balance adjustments that aim to address some of the flaws would make this an all timer.
