I used to play this game as a kid, replayed it after 15 years or even more and still holds up. Very good.
Zombie Shooter

Underwhelming but Enjoyable Top-down Shooter

Maybe not worth a try
Zombie Shooter is personally my favorite game in the Shooter series. This title has new game mechanics, a higher difficulty level with tougher enemies and longer levels that are harder to explore. Unfortunately, it is also the game with the most bugs and technical issues. There are so many gameplay, audio, and resolution issues that hinder the overall experience, which is why I can’t really recommend it, despite the fact that it’s a title I enjoyed a lot years ago and still enjoy today, even with its terrible issues. Gameplay: Challenging but very unpolished shooter Art: Rough and very outdated graphics Music: Fine action soundtrack
Gameplay
This title features a progression system very similar to its predecessors, such as Alien Shooter. It includes a character upgrade mechanic that now works through experience gained by killing enemies and collecting orbs. The shop system is still present, but now it includes a veterancy mechanic that allows the player to upgrade and rank up the game’s weapons. Personally, I really liked this addition, but heavily upgrading a single weapon can make its rate of fire and damage increase excessively, quickly overshadowing other weapons or making it comparable to, or even better than, supposedly more advanced ones. Besides this, unfortunately, the game has some issues with character movement, as the player can often get permanently stuck between obstacles and walls, forcing us to restart the level which is terribly frustrating. Another issue is the lack of innovation in the game’s weapon selection. It reuses almost the entire arsenal from the Alien Shooter counterpart, with barely any changes besides one new weapon type. This version also includes two game modes: Survival and Gun Stand, which are a bit entertaining but do not provide any relevant content to the game.
Art and World Design
Zombie Shooter has a terrible graphical downgrade compared to the previous entries. The game looks visually oversaturated and has a very low visual quality overall. However, I must acknowledge that this title does include a better variety of areas to explore, adding outdoor locations, sewers, and military bases.
Music and Sound effects
The soundtrack remains pretty intense, with heavy electronic beats that keep well the fast-pace action that the game offers. On the other hand, there are many issues with the game’s sound effects and the audio overall. They overlap even more than in the previous entries and have a much lower quality. There are even occasions where they can barely be heard due to poor audio mixing.

It might not be the most refined or cutting-edge product, but it serves its purpose well. Playing Zombie Shooter is a great way to pass a couple hours by, and its pixelated aesthetic is charmingly akin to the likes of 90's RPGs and 2000's Flash games.

Раньше нам большего и не надо было для счастливого дня.
Not bad, top down shooter, where you just kill waves and waves of zombies. It's utter war and blood-shed. Get's a bit more challenging after five levels or so, where the game just throws so many zombies at you. As a heads up, you can't change resolution, but game seems to run fine on windows 10 for me. This looks like one of the only ways to play this game in its original state. I wanted to play the game on Android, but the company have completely distorted the game to fit the "Free-emium" business model that is the norm on the Google play store and for Gen Alpha. Basically it's pay to win, pay to ease discomfort, pay to kill enjoyment. Terrible.
