It starts with a daring escape from a zombie-infested city; it ends at Zombie Exodus, when a horde of zombies swarms outlying settlements like locusts.

A fun but difficult zombie chose your own adventure style game. My first playthrough was based off of decisions I would have made in each specific situation and experienced my first death on the Oil Rig, around the games midpoint. I ended with 'Ending 4' out of 9 possible endings. The single start to finish run took me six hours of gameplay and Just one Steam trophy - I could see collectors easily getting frustrated with this game. The most impressive thing is how much tension a text based game could cause me, I truly had to deliberate some of the choices I made. Well worth my time - and yours too!
Great story! I wish I could save when I wanted, but I guess that's the challenge of it.

Great game! Great novel!
Good
(May be some spoilers.) I wanted to like this, and it wasn't the *worst*. I think the attempt at having a sort of base management aspect to it was an interesting idea that just wasn't executed very well. It felt tedious and pointless rather than engaging and immersive. The writing itself isn't awful, but the overall story and characters are kind of generic, lackluster, and bland. The plot feels pretty predictable, it doesn't feel like your choices mean much other than if your character lives a bit longer or just dies right now, and none of the possible outcomes really felt worth striving towards. The characters are uninspired and one-dimensional with no real motives, or motives that just pop up and make no sense. If this were someone's first interactive novel that they had written, I would say it's a great starting place and a solid base that needs more time, editing, reflection, and fleshing out.
Fantastic! I loved it.
