[h1]The biggest game's problems so far:[/h1] [list] [*]Players are constantly teaming up in the solo matches. In 3 of 3 matches I got killed by guys who didn't attack each other after killing me. [*]Hitboxes are a complete mistake and many of the hits miss despite good aiming. [*]Often there's no sounds of the enemies' steps. [*]No European servers. [*]Horses in this game work both like a catapult(get off the horse when it moves) and like the cars with rubber bumpers (when you hit someone) [*]The optimisation could be better,because the looks don't justify the framerate. [*]The after-landing animation takes ages,so basically you're dead if someone lands a few seconds earlier and pick up a weapon [/list] In conclusion:The first two problems I mentioned make the game unplayable.The matchmaking and the hitboxes make this game a complete garbage.[b]Don't waste your time [/b]

So I was interested in this game because the graphics looked cool and the videos made it look fun. As soon as I joined my first game, I get completely destroyed by a recognizable name. I decided to sit and spectate to see if I could get any tips, but I only ended up getting more confused as I watched the other fellers play. The controls are so clunky it's hilarious and I guess the game is somewhat entertaining because of it. Like Hand Simulator or Surgeon Simulator etc. I thought at first they just had a small number of servers, but it turns out the reason you gotta wait for half an hour in between the matches is because there's only enough players to fill a tenth of a server. You need to wait until the other guys are done playing. Wanna play with your buddies? Outta luck there, bruh, not enough players playing squads and you are not allowed to play with your friends in solo. The devs are in kahoots with a certain streamer. If you look at the leaderboards you can see that the top player who is in every match has a K:D of about 32. I had my fun in this game. But it was not because the game was fun. :(

Game has been shut down, don't bother downloading. It was fun while it lasted.

I was put of by negative reviews about combat mechanics and it being a battleground royale. However I tried it with my friend, and it is just plain awesome. Dive down from heaven as a comet, land in some outback area and gear up by looting houses - under the tension that you might meet anyone anytime! Often you and your enemy are very ill prepared. Combat can by hectik instead of clinical, but that makes the rush so great. After you've found some (purple) gear, roam the lands of Ancient Greece on your horse or chariot and enjoy the beautiful scenery and smoothness of the game. I'm in for a lot more rounds

I'm not a huge reviewer but for at a time where battle royale games are done to death, this team made it extremely unique and free! It's worth a shot. Does it need work? yes. Are the devs trying to do so? So far yes. From this review it's brand new and for it being EA and new its really good. Let's get a player base going

Another day, another free to play battle royale game on Steam. The unique ‘selling’ point with this one is the setting; mythical ancient Greece. Unfortunately the game doesn’t do enough with it for that to be much of a selling point. In my opinion it’s also one of the ugliest battle royale games I’ve played. A focus on melee combat isn’t anything new; Realm Royale has lots of that and it also has classes, which is something I’d like to have seen here. Perhaps you could've declared allegiance to a certain god, giving you unique skills and weapons? What we have instead is the same battle royale game you’ve all seen before, only with weapons and armour out of ancient Greece. During most of my games I also noticed that people were using range weapons regardless of the supposed focus on melee. You need to do something special to stand out in this crowded genre and Zeus’ Battlegrounds doesn’t stand out mechanically, or visually. It’s also low on players at launch which isn’t promising. That’s somewhat of a shame because this setting is a fantastic one for video games; I just wish they’d gotten more creative with it.

To be honest this game was more of running people over with a horse simulator than melee royale, but it was fun, just stop the horse rampage please
