Zero Point Survivor

This looks like a really fun twin stick shooter in the trailer, but the actual game is not quite as portrayed and feels half finished. The main problem though is lack of controller support. A game like this really needs full controller support. Currently the steam overlay just maps the right stick to the mouse cursor, which is unplayable on controller and steam deck. Edit - it looks like they're in the process of fixing things. I can't wait to play the next update.

An enjoyable and well-crafted survivor game. Feels slow in the beginning but picks up as you level up your weapons and stats. As you collect more gold you can unlock new ships or buy upgrades to improve each run. There's a good variety of ships and weapons to try different setups. The graphics and music are great. Overall, a really solid experience with an addicting gameplay loop. Highly recommend ZPS to anyone interested in bullet hell/VS style games, and I'm looking forward to future updates.

This game is very fun to play! Definitely one of those "easy to learn hard to master" games. Check this one out it is really good!

This title has the foundation to be one of the best of its kind! If the grammers keep polishing this gem and keep adding essentials to what they already have accomplished, this has the ability to be labeled one of the classics! In its current state it is playable and fun but with some work it could turn out to be EPIC. Great soundtrack and great design! Please keep working on this title.

A short and sweet garlic-like shooter about a disgruntled Space-Uber driver going on a joyride. The introductory story when you start up this game may be simple but between ideas and context presented as well as some flavor text from upgrades to weapons provide some very interesting worldbuilding that I want to see more of as content gets added. Gameplay revolves around defeating enemies and collecting exp and the occasional drop to gain bonus stats and weapons to further the rampage and collect potentially eldritch gold to spend on fairly simple upgrades and ships. Currently, five ships are available, but unfortunately the first two feel underwhelming and lack any appeal beyond aesthetics. Some mechanics are left unexplained. For example, scavenger ships occasionally appear in the background and you can buy or sell weapons by staying over them until their doors open. There are weapons completely unique to this random shop so having no direct info on them as well as the randomness of the ships gatekeeps a fair bit of the builds you can have on any given run. Once you've cleared all the current levels there is not much left to pursue aside from maxing out upgrades. Of these, “Randomness" is more frustrating than fun and may even pose seizure risks due to overstimulation. Still, for $5, it's a decent time-waster for people who enjoy casual bullet heaven games. With more polish, better ship variety, some customization options, and quality-of-life improvements, Zero Point Survivor could evolve into something truly special. Hopefully, future updates will add more both to the game itself and the story.

A very scuffed garlic like where it mostly adds to its charm but does veer a bit into obnoxious territory. Not a game for everyone, but proves decently addicting for those who don't mind.
