I streamed my first play- through, I died twice my first hour playing. Chat was loving that but they were rooting for the characters and we as community really adored the adventure.. I am in love with this game. I bought it on a whim because I liked the synopsis. NO REGRETS I highly recommend anyone who loves otome and visual romance novels not to miss this game. I am loving absolutely everything about this game and I can not wait for the final completion, it will be worth the wait.

Moshirechik End 3 is so sorrowful. 😭
This is such a good otome <3 <3 <3 1. Story 10/10: I cared about the characters, I cried for some of the routes. The plot had me hooked till the very end. You have to play all good and bad routes to get the after story for each love interest, but it is worth it. 2. Love Interests 7/10: One of the routes didn't feel romantic for that love interest unless you got the bad routes.... those bad routes made me cry (two of the characters bad routes were really really sad....). This otome is really good just because the writing could evoke strong emotions between the characters. The Lore really comes together after you play a couple routes. 3. Main Character 10/10: Guys MC actually defends herself!! The MC is very smart and caring, I really enjoyed an MC that will jump into battle to save her friends. I also loved how when she sets her mind on something she does it. 4. Art 10/10: It was consistent and well made. 5. Voice acting 10/10 6. Achievements 5/10: I did not personally subject myself to the horror of achievement hunting.... one of the achievements is a little extreme. This game is worth it based upon the other aspects but achievement hunting in this game should be left to the more patient/masochistic readers. I would recommend this to those really enjoyed Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds/ Edo Blossoms, This otome is more modern Japan but it has kinda the same feel. I played my Route's Pewrep -> Li Huaisu -> Kyril -> Moshirechik. I think this order was pretty good for unraveling the story. I hope this helps!!! Enjoy <3 <3 <3
I would highly recommend this game, it was very addictive to try and complete all routes and to get to the extra side stories. The art work is wonderful and so was each story line and character, it gives you mixed emotions but it's worth it. This is a game I frequently come back to for a quick escape from RL.
This is not the worst Otome VN that you can read, but it is not good either. I'll start from the praise: + Voice acting was good + Music was good Mixed feelings: - Art was mostly good. I liked Character sprites, but not every side character had sprite. CGs were mostly good, but the ones for Huaisu was clearly made by a different artist and I did not like them much. Some backgrounds were photos, which is fine, but sometimes photos did not match what they should depict (e.g., castle rooms look like modern day hotel). - Dictionary... Some of the words were just transliterated from Japanese into English and I felt that it was not always necessary and just made reading harder. To illustrate my point, please, tell me how this sentence reeds out to you: "Ainu[1] live in Ainumoshir[2] and after death should go to Ponkamoshir[3], not to Kamoymoshir[4]", with the dictionary entries: Ainu - human Ainumoshir - realm of humans Ponkamoshir - realm of the dead Kamuymoshir - realm of gods. I... just think that the sentence can be rephrased to make reading easier. To be honest, there is such a missed opportunity here, it would have been cool if gods used different language from humans and used words from the Dictionary. But no, gods are speaking exactly like humans. More to that, the god, who was isolated for centuries, uses modern geographical names, which he should not know (instead of the old names of locals, he uses modern names that were given to places by the nation who occupied the land while the god was in isolation). Maybe I just thinking about it too much, more than authors of the game. What was bad: - The plot is rushed and poorly thought out, which is the sad, because the setting is interesting. The demon god plotline suddenly starts, without any buildup, and suddenly ends (if you don't stay on his route). Actually, most of the events suddenly start and end, they just happen. In the most routes, the main villain of the story is just ignored in the end or dealt with offscreen. It is a mess... - Romance is rushed and not believable. All events of VN take a few weeks and I can hardly understand why the MC would like the boys, or why would they like her. The demon god is the worst offender in this: he is awful,
was casually murdering people in the past and continuing into the present. But you see, he was deceived by a woman once, and, you know, genosided a whole nation because she asked and he didn't think to check her words. He treats MC poorly, but he was deceived in the past, so he is not guilty apparently, and he loves flowers, and he is hot, so he is good in his heart or something.
. Huaisu route is not much better:
the guy wants to do ... a thing ... and then he just changes his mind, just like that
. - Bugs: the image was blinking sometimes, the music was missing sometimes. Given the weak writing, inconsistent art and bugs, I would not recommend taking this game, at least not for the full price.
Shinen no yukara to gra o bardzo specyficznym klimacie.
Wonderful game! Interesting story and great characters. Looking forward to the other routes to be released. Highly recommend giving it a shot
This has been one of my favorite otome games I've played, I'm definitely looking forward to getting access to pewreps route. He's still my favorite character even after doing both the routes that are available right now. However I do have a couple complaints. There's quite a bit of typos in kyrils route, I know it's early access so I'm hoping they fix that. And they mention him kissing the hand of some woman towards the beginning of the game and then literally never mention her again in either of the routes. It definitely should have been brought back up in his route so we got an explanation to that, or just never mentioned at all since it had nothing to do with the main story. But other than that I don't have any complaints with the game. The music is nice, the art is pretty, voice acting is great. I'll change the review if necessary when the last 2 routes become available. But I definitely recommend picking this up especially since it's at a discounted price while in early access. Oh also it works great on the steam deck! That's the only thing I played it on and I had no issues. You do have to manually put in the name but other than that I was able to play with the ps5 controller. You just have to use the touch pad which isn't a big deal.
