About
Yugo: the non-game is a virtual space where you can drive a car, listen to the radio, and invite people to talk and share the experience with. It's a space that allows long conversations and hangouts that are often harder to come by when communicating digitally. It's a non-gamification of common voice chat sessions between people playing a game. It is a game for non-gamers.
When a player starts a session, they are the car driver, and each person that joins is seated in one of the other three passenger seats. Players are automatically connected via voice chat. The radio stations are real-life internet radio streams and several of them are available by default, and more can be added or removed by the players.
The environment, while it is abstracted and contextless, still contains elements of a certain time and region. The serpentine roads in the game are inspired by the mountainous roads going from Kosovo to Montenegro. The car is modeled after Yugo, an iconic car produced in Yugoslavia in the 1980s’. The time of the day is reminiscent of dusks in Kosovo, mostly because of the omnipresence of crows and the sounds they make at evening flying back to their nests for the night. Similarly reminiscent of that region are also the monolithic-like objects on top of hills, inspired by Socialist-era Yugoslavian monuments in Kosovo and the rest ex-Yugoslavia. Aside from the significance they have for the area and people there, they have a striking visual appearance that blur the time and place perceptions.
What’s New in v2.0:
In addition to various improvements to existing features, Yugo: The Non-Game version 2.0 introduces exciting new elements:
You can now join not just your friends, but also public sessions. Choose from a list of ongoing sessions or jump into a random one. This feature enhances the community aspect of the game, allowing for spontaneous interactions and connections with new players.
You can now add your own real-life radio stations and enjoy them with your fellow passengers in the car. We’ve also provided a database of available radio stream URLs to make it easy for you to find your favorite stations.

very fun relaxing game to chat with friends
A game in which you drive around, either by controlling the car yourself or let the CPU handle it. Meanwhile you can listen to one of the radio channels and/or talk to other people. I do like the idea of Yugo: The non-game, I just think it's not really practical for most people. Driving around is too simplistic and not really fun which is why you probably shift to the 'self drive' option quickly. Obviously, having no friends, I had to ride around solo and although the radio stations are quite good, the environments are boring and repeat themselves quickly. I did not really see the point, I can listen to music and watch or do something else. Multiplayer is quite dead aswell if you feel like dropping in some random car with other people. If you DO have friends it probably could be quite fun but realistically to get 3 of your friends to go and buy this game just so you can hang out in this car.... look if there were some interesting things to see from time to time or at least some color changes instead of this purple it would already be much more interesting. Overall I think this game could be nice for a select few people but it's just not practical for the vast majority.
I want to give this a neutral rating because the game itself isn't bad. You get to ride in a yugo on a very pleasant road taking in the scenery as it goes by. There's a radio included to add your own stations and the like to listen to and with other people... But, that's the issue. There are no others. No one's around to play the game anymore. Game released and people played but then as it went on less and less people engaged in the game because well. The game itself isn't a typical game, it's a social game. It's sad to buy the game and never get to experience anything it had to offer.

Bastante cozy para pasar un buen rato con amigos y conversar, el paisaje es un poco repetitivo lo cual tiende a aburrir en cierto punto pero para estar de chill con amigos un rato bastante bien
