About
In this surreal, weirdcore fast-paced movement shooter, awaken in a distorted afterlife and master a wide range of mobility mechanics, including wall running, sliding, and grappling, to propel yourself through the strange architecture and enemies you will encounter. Learn new ways to combo these together with your ever-growing arsenal of weapons in order to tear through the creatures that haunt this strange new realm.
Every level pulls you deeper into an ever-stranger afterlife where you feel your identity slowly coming apart. The spaces feel familiar but wrong, small elements reminding you of the man you were before, all distorted and unfinished as if it was all just a dream. Your only way forward is speed, precision, and learning how to bend the game’s systems until they break.
Compete for leaderboard dominance across meticulously crafted levels, balancing speed against score as you route perfect runs. Defeat bosses to unlock new layers of the world… then do it all again, but cleaner, faster, and with a higher rank. How fast can you reach the end and find yourself here again?
FLUID MOVEMENT IS YOUR GREATEST WEAPON
Master a full kit designed for speed and creative expression:
Wall Run: Scale surreal surfaces and impossible angles.
Slide: Dodge attacks, squeeze through gaps, and maintain your momentum.
Grapple: Fling yourself across the levels with your stretchy arm and chain paths no one else sees.
Slam: Drop down, gaining momentum to transfer into insane slides or jumps to fly across gaps.
Conserve Momentum: String jumps, portals, and bouncy mushrooms together to stay in constant flow.
SPEED IS YOUR AMMO. MOVEMENT IS YOUR STRATEGY
Our combat system is built to interact with how you move:
Velocity-Based Damage: Go faster to hit harder. Your speed charges a critical bar, turning every hit you do into a critical strike.
Strategic Arsenal: Unlock a variety of weapons, each with unique roles, synergies, and links to movement.
Weapon Movement Exclusives: Propel yourself with explosions, grapple your own projectiles, or utilise recoil to boost your speed even more.
Adapt or Fail: Fight over 10 different enemy types and variants that force you to adapt your routes and force split-second decisions.
Epic Boss Confrontations: Test your skills against 3 major bosses that guard new layers of the afterlife and test everything you’ve learned.
DESIGNED TO BE MASTERED, THEN BROKEN

Reviews
Very much embodies weirdcore and absurdism, I like the disembodied voice :) Has a bit of jank but that works so well for the theme of the game.
Mortals beware. Fear those who have tread along the ways. You may run, but will you escape?
i like this game alot and im decent at speedrunning the forgotten
Full disclosure I was a beta tester for this game. The mechanics feel tight, a fair amount bugs, but for an early access release, still completely playable all the way through. None of the bugs are that major + devs very active in the discord server. Works perfectly fine on linux after I pushed for a linux build LOL, performance is great, no stability issues. I think the first boss is slightly overtuned, and the second 2 are pretty easy to beat, but other than that I'd say all the enemies feel well balanced. Being able to grapple the rocket launcher rockets and the sword just teleporting you like any distance to 1 shot an enemy are really cool mechanics. I'll probably update this review as the game gets updated. tldr: pls devs don't nerf sword my beloved <3
Very ULTRAKILL-inspired movement shooter, so if you like speedrunning through levels you can have some good fun. A playthrough of the game is pretty short, but I spent a while replaying the levels to get better times and find cool movement tech. The level design is very "function over form", it focuses on playing well and working with the mechanics rather than sacrificing gameplay for aesthetic and visual appeal, which I think too few games do enough of. There's a few bugs, but they don't affect gameplay too much and you can play through the game from start to finish without them causing any issues. TL;DR - Fun movement shooter, lots of replayability, a few minor bugs but still good.
Very action packed and fast paced shooter game. I Love the movement, its so satisfying to fly around and see how fast you can go! Slightly buggy but overall a great experience. I like the Yippie! :D
great replacement for hallucinogens
for a first game this game is great, but you need take it is a first game. if you like ultakill you will most likely like it. I'm excited to see what the Devious Devs are going to make next
I recieved a copy of this game for free, I'd never played anything like it before, but this was a truly remarkable experience. As I said, I've never played a game like this, but now I can proudly say that I have, and that I liked it. Thank you to Yodapowers for the free copy of the game, I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a really fun, and quick movement shooter. The element of weirdcore being incorporated felt like a unique twist, that was 100% apparent throughout the whole game.
