The original PC sensation that started it all! We've brought it back in all its virginal glory! The world was a much simpler place in 1995. The kids were listening to the grunge, the first test-tube gorilla was born at the Cincinnati Zoo, and a little trivia game called YOU DON’T KNOW JACK took the interactive CD-ROM trivia game show...

Un indémodable jeu de quiz, toujours aussi drôle.
fun
10/10. The funniest quiz game I've ever played.
It is really interesting to see how this series has evolved over the last 30 years. I found this game to be fun honestly, even to this day. Listen, I am European, and there is a lot of American based questions, (Some of those gibberish questions make me question my life) makes sense during the time of the game and its audience. But I honestly try not to let that ruin my experience. I love the atmosphere of this game, from the staff opening to the advertisements playing at the end of the game. It definitely isn't everyone's' cup of tea, but I have a damn good time playing this and learning about the series. Also stan Nate Shapiro.
Nostalgia... Старый проект. Не удивительно!
classic!

Ein sehr Gute Party Spiel, grad wenn man auch solche Spiele steht auch auf Englisch macht es einfach Fun ob Deutsch oder Englisch macht das Spiel Erlebnis nicht zu Nichte es macht er wieder Fun.
Very simple but very fun to play with one or two friends. Some questions are a little bit dated when playing in 2025 but the game is pretty much just as good today as it ever was.
YOU DON'T KNOW JACK Vol. 1 XL, developed and published by Jackbox Games, Inc., is a digitally remastered version of the classic 1995 trivia game that combines knowledge-based challenges with sharp, irreverent humor. This edition, updated for modern systems and available on Steam, expands the original content while preserving the series’ signature style, offering both nostalgia for longtime fans and an accessible introduction for new players. The game stands out in the trivia genre for its unique approach, blending competitive gameplay with witty commentary and playful satire. At its core, the game is structured like a fast-paced quiz show. Players are presented with a series of multiple-choice questions spanning diverse topics, from general knowledge to pop culture and history. Unlike traditional trivia games, YOU DON'T KNOW JACK often phrases questions in humorous or deliberately misleading ways, requiring players to think critically and consider the nuances of each prompt rather than relying solely on rote memory. The gameplay supports up to three players locally, fostering a lively, competitive atmosphere that encourages laughter, quick thinking, and playful banter among participants. A defining feature of the game is its host, Cookie Masterson, whose sarcastic and witty commentary injects energy and personality into every session. Cookie’s remarks often tease the players, comment on their performance, or poke fun at the questions themselves, creating a highly engaging and entertaining environment. This character-driven humor has become a hallmark of the series, elevating YOU DON'T KNOW JACK beyond a typical trivia game and giving it a distinct charm that resonates with audiences. Visually, the game embraces a retro 1990s aesthetic with pixelated graphics and a straightforward user interface. While the visuals may appear dated compared to contemporary games, they evoke nostalgia for players familiar with the original release. The design prioritizes clarity and functionality, ensuring that players can focus on reading questions and making quick decisions without distraction. This simplicity also allows the humor and personality of the host to remain at the forefront of the experience. The XL edition enhances the original game by including additional questions, broadening the range of topics and increasing replayability. The new content ensures that even seasoned players encounter fresh challenges, while the expanded question pool provides opportunities for deeper engagement and more varied gameplay sessions. This upgrade keeps the game lively and prevents it from feeling repetitive, maintaining the fast-paced, unpredictable nature that has made the series so enduring. In conclusion, YOU DON'T KNOW JACK Vol. 1 XL is a cleverly crafted trivia experience that combines challenge, humor, and personality. Its unconventional question design, memorable hosting, and competitive multiplayer format create a game that is both entertaining and intellectually stimulating. While the graphics are simplistic by modern standards, the witty writing, engaging presentation, and expanded content of the XL edition make it a standout title for fans of trivia and casual gaming alike. It successfully bridges the gap between nostalgic appeal and contemporary accessibility, offering a timeless and enjoyable experience for all types of players. Rating: 8/10
