YOKAIWARE

This incredibly nice little game is simply delicious! If you, like me, are particularly intrigued by asian folklore, then you'll find a true micro hidden gem here. Yokaiware is a collection of 28 micro-games, clearly inspired by the much larger collection that you can find in the more famous game "Spookware". But while the latter is focussed on classic horror themes, the former is focussed on the much less known characters of traditional asian folklore, i.e., the Yokai. Each micro-game is inspired by a particular Yokai, and comes with its own graphic style, its own background music, and most importantly its own unique gameplay mechanic, which is also inspired by the lore behind that particular Yokai. ALL micro-games are totally unique, but they all reward reflexes, memory, speed, and intuition. The difficulty is very well balanced: the game is challenging, but not frustrating, anyone can beat it with just a little bit of patience and perseverance. And as you complete the game for the first time, you are rewarded with the most appreciated gifts: additional (and of course optional) challenges, plus... a Yokai showcase, with the explained lore of each single creature! I have a passion for this kind of things, this is GOLD for me! Overall, I highly recommend this game to all fans of asian culture and to all players who seek a fun and entertaining time-killer, a sort of funny and cartoonish mini-drug you'll want to play more and more! O jogo é curto de fato, mas há espaço para expansões futuras! Gostei muito do jogo, e me diverti muito jogando! Acho que deveria ter um português tbm, mesmo que os textos sejam curtos, pq nem todo mundo consegue ler em inglês tão rápido... Mas gostei e recomendo sim!

O jogo é incrível, divertido, animado e principalmente desafiador. Ele é curto, mas gastei algumas horas pra poder masterizar e em cada momento achei demais, me diverti muito, arte, sons, minigames, tudo muito bem feito. E também o produtor desse jogo é gente finíssima, recomendo demais!

Curtinho e super gostoso de jogar. Os minigames são criativos e cheios de carinho, a estética surpreende constantemente, e ainda por cima o desenvolvedor é super gente fina. Definitivamente vale o precinho!
